well made with with plenty of anchor points on bottom flange to bolt down securly. Also the two bolts hold the post tightly in place.

These 4x4 post anchors worked really well for installing our fence. Part of our fence that we put up was overhanging a Concrete slab and we used Concrete tapcon screws to with this post anchor and it did a great job and is very sturdy.

I installed them, built my cover patio and getting good comments by other about its appearance.

These things are great, I used them to install a Privacy wall on my deck.

Unlike many Anchor Brackets which involve a fully welded collar to the base plate; These incorporate an individual base flange for all four sides. This Bracket allows you to clamp the post to the base without trimming to size. No more relief cuts or chiseling. Reasonably priced too.

UPDATE: Six months in and they have so far stood up well, no loosening, no chipping, holding solid.We are using these both on decks and concrete to secure the 4x4's for various roofing projects. So far installation and use has been flawless; 4x4's are securely held, and the black brackets LOOK great.Screws are NOT included, and dependent on usage. I suggest taking brackets to hardware store to ensure the appropriate fasteners are obtained for your use.Sizing is true and correct for a standard 4x4. These are a great alternative to all other options we looked at as they are useful on multiple surfaces and allow for a cohesive look - black hardware is just so much more visually appealing!

Bracket is good, well made. Bolts to secure it have very shallow threads, stripped them clean when I tightened the bracket on the post. Had to improvise by drilling holes all around and secure the post with screws. I previously purchased one from HD in the past, the bolts are larger diameter with deeper threads, however can no longer find the same product.

I purchased these to build a small section of railing on my deck and they worked out perfectly. They are of great quality and extremely strong. I feel very confident and feel safe when my kids are leaning on the railing. I highly recommend them for many different applications.
