McGard84527 Black Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit (M14 X 1.5 Thread Size - for 5 Lug Wheels

One-piece, tough finish and great fit. OEM had chrome cover that would loosen and separated over time.

I thought at first they would not seat well but I phoned McGard support and they stated that they test fitted for the Explorer ST and had no issues. So far over two hundred miles and no issues. Will check again at 500 miles. Ford should have put black lugs on the black wheels at the factory.

looks to be high quality, beats the heck out of the old silver ones on my black rims. each one weighs one gram more than my stock lugs but the locking one weighs 19 grams less than the stock locking lug nut, so saving about a half ounce of weight per wheel overall. they did drop the price $20 just after I purchased which I am not thrilled about.

Fix like they should. (2014 Ram ) I will learn not to torque them down so much. Hope they last.

These look great on the black Explorer ST factory rims! Way better than the chrome ones from the factory...why would they do that?! (lets use a blacked out rim set with red rotors and then put bright shiny chrome bolts....said nobody ever, other than dumb executives at Ford)Simple and easy install - I didn't even raise the car up. One off, one on, torque to just under specs, move to the next. After getting all 5 on a rim, go around in the proper 5 star way and torque to spec. Super easy. Looks great.

The cone seat on these lugs is way too small for a 2016 Camaro 2SS. The contact from the cone seat to the actual wheel is minimal, and w a 140' lb spec, I didn't feel comfortable with these lugs installed. Not to mention you can see the nonpainted area where the factory lugs sat. McGard has another part number for the 2016 Camaro; make sure you choose those lugs.

I first purchased the Gorilla brand lugs and was thoroughly unimpressed with the care in which they were presented. They came in a plain box with minimal packing and all of the lugs wrapped together in cellophane. This meant they were scratching each other. I was very disappointed that the shipment was missing one of the locking lugs. I promptly sent them back and ordered the McGard. When I opened the box I was very pleased to see a professional product. Each individual lug was in its own plastic bag and they provided a nice bag for your lug key. The quality of the lugs is excellent and the locking lugs have a plastic cover that helps them blend in with the standard lugs. Such a difference and easily worth the cost.

States fit for 2020 Explorer ST but these are longer than stock by about 3/16" so they stick out. The locks stick out even further making it possible to remove with vice grips. Too bad because the quality and finish is exceptional. You do get what you pay for but not correct replacement for stockFord lug nuts.

I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline and I purchase a set of black Honda original wheels that came off a 2017 Honda Ridgeline black addition and these Black lugs complete the all black look. I had no problem installing these lugs I hope they maintain their looks. The design is a bit different from the originals.

Had to return they were too narrow for my Honda ridgeline rims
