I know the photo looks bad, but I'll start by saying that this case saved my phone from a sure ugly shatter.I was on a roller coaster and it slipped and SLAMMED onto the floor by my feet and sure the case broke, but my phone was fully intact.Okay, now for a review.The case was easy to instal and fits perfect, and the fact that it's glass from the back, really does give it a good feel.It does add some weight and slight bulk, but any case will do that really.The edges are a firm rubber, but not sticky that it would stick to the inside of your pockets when pulling it out.Also, there are 4 slight lips on the back corners of the case that keep the case from sitting directly on a surface.Great investment!

For the most part the case looks great on my gold XsMax. I’m not to fond or dot matrix on the side, it breaks up the gold finish shining through. I won’t ding the product for that because I know the reason for it being(wish it wasn’t so aggressive). The lip for the screen can be more pronounced. The protection is there but very minimal.

Update:I've had the phone case for a month. It still looks beautiful but I'm now deducting one star because it soooo slippery. I've dropped it so many times because it's so slippery. No damages from the many drops until today. Today my phone slipped out of my hand as I was getting out of my car and dropped onto uneven rocks and the glass on the back of the case got smashed. When I started to take the case off to inspect how the iPhone was, tiny shards of glass fell all over the table. I ended up not taking the case completely off because I think it will crack more and I won't be able to put it back on again. I think my iPhone underneath is not damaged, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll take it off once my replacement case arrives (don't want to chance damaging a "naked" phone).I bought two of these: one for me and one for hubby. I love how it's completely clear so that the iPhone color shines through. Any fingerprint smudges comes off very easily with wiping it on my pants for 1-2 seconds.... it does not need microfiber cloth to clean the glass. It looks completely clear and clean with minimal effort of wiping on my pants. The camera is well protected. The lip over the iPhone glass is minimal. I put a tempered glass protector over my iPhone Xs max, and with the glass protector on, I think the case is at the same level or slightly below the glass protector. I've only used it for 4 days, and so far I'm completely happy with it!

Really liking the hard back to go with the flexible sides. Adds nice grip on side and keeps the back smooth so I can see the skin I put on the phone clearly.

This is the second ESR glass back case that i have bought. I love how thin the case is while still giving protection.The back can collect fingerprints, however so does the normal glass back of the phone, it doesn’t bother me. I was riding a bike yesterday and my phone fell from my pocket while in motion from about 4 feet high onto the rocky asphalt and my ESR screen protector and this case saved my xs max from any damage (the screen protector didn’t survive, but saved my actual screen).

Installed on phone easily, sleek look. Removed case to put on screen protector and the case shattered and cut myself. Was not easy to remove from phone. Another issue I had was the phone case was very slick and would slide off my lap, blanket, or couch. Please note, case might have shattered due to slightly twisting the case to remove from phone.***update: Seller read my review and was kind enough to send a replacement. Much appreciated and hopefully will be more careful when removing from old phone. Thank you seller!

Wanted a different case for my iPhone X’s Max. I’ve had the iPhone 6+ for a while now and went through different cases. My favorite one had an aluminum edge which gave it a nice feel. The glass back of this case falls into the same category where it just feels nice in my hand. Can’t say about the durability given that I haven’t dropped it. Now if they would make one with a metal band/edge then it would improve the tactile experience.

I’m not a fan of phone covers, yes they are designed to protect your phone but often alter the look and feel of the phone itself. However this case changes that. The back of the case has a layer of tempered glass so it still feels like the iPhone. It’s crystal clear so it still looks like the iPhone. Once the case is on it only feels like you have a TPU bumper around the edges…which offers extra grip.For those who are looking for a case that doesn’t feel rubbery or like plastic then this is perfect. Do be mindful it’s like a screen protector on the back (on top of plastic) so will most likely crack if dropped. The phone will be fine because of the TPU bumper and hard plastic inside.

Wanted a glass back phone case, also with gradient colour, after lots of research found this one. The product exceeded my expectation, the glass back is great, the rubber edge will make your phone feels bigger but all cases will do. This case just feels wider but not thicker, which was unexpected. Delighted with the colour too, I have a gold Xs Max so coincidentally it gives a gold gradient in between the blue and purple! Love it!

I wrote this review after buying the case. I am returning to it after I had the case for 6 months. Today, I have dropped my phone on concrete floor from my hand, I’m tall so there was some distance to fly... the case ABSOLUTELY took the impact and kept the phone safe. In addition to that it remained stylish and sleek throughout. Good case l. I recommend.I gave it 5 stars because its very snug, its clear but doesnt look cheap like the usual clear cases, so you can see the beauty of the iPhone design. I was led to believe that it would be super thin and have no case feel to it - which it is not. Its pretty much like any clear case and adds a couple of mm around. Thats not an issue though so I would definitely buy again if i need a replacement as the case feels like a lot better quality than plastic or silicone and looks a lot better too i think.

I’ve been using iPhones and screen protectors for years and this is hands down the best. Really easy to use instructions, the guard to help fit it worked perfectly and it’s probably the first screen protector I’ve used where I did it first time without any bubbles - BUY THIS

I ordered 3 cases for my new iPhone sx max this & 2 others that where clear supposedly very thin cases. This was by far the best, the glass back makes it class, rather than looking cheap which I found with the other 2, & although the others were a bit slimmer by a few mils than the bumper on this I would still choose this as the back makes such a difference. I have not found this case slipping off furniture like other have stated or slippy in my hands which originally put me off buying it but after feeling disappointed with the silicone cases thought I would try it, and have been using it for about 5 days, I really like it.
