Another adventure for the masterthief and gentlemen rogue, Lupin the Third. Tipped off by his old boss about a valuable treasure in the Moroccan desert Lupin, accompanied by trusty sidekick Jigen, and would-be girlfriend Fujiko, head off to find the riches. Nothing is easy however, and soon Lupin's old nemesis Inspector Zenigata is hot on his tail, and worse still a bunch of mysterious assassins are also not far behind. Can Lupin find the Twilight Gemini diamond, and uncover the secrets of the Gelt tribe before it is too late?

Good Animation
Not as good as Castle Of Cagliostro but still very watchable.Lupin never really took off in the UK which is a shame because it is a very good series with some great animation.More traditional animation than manga.Voice acting is good.

It's a Great Movie but the DVD is English DUB Only and the Original Japanese Dub is Better.

lupin is brill
i enjoy every lupin the third series it very well made and is brillant for any japanse lover of this series lupin is great even looking like his female panter at times

just a television special
As a charismatic thief with James Bond like gadgets, Lupin's adventures tend to be light hearted action based flicks with comedy thrown in.To the best of my knowledge there are at least 26 animated feature length movies, only 5 of which started off as cinema releases, all the rest are television specials.Secret Of Twilight Gemini is arguably the worst one with it's painfully straight forward story line.Try Lupin's second movie instead "Castle Of Cagliostro" where Lupin comes across as having charisma and charm, you don't have to be a Manga fan to enjoy it either. If you've already seen that and want another Lupin fix try his first movie "The Secret of Mamo" it's less well known but almost as good.
