greatest squash ever long lasting storage great reddish "meat" like pumpkin but easier to process

bought them as I have grown in past but couldn't find seeds locally. planted 3 seeds only one germinated and doing well. it's late in the season here and we haven't got much sun mostly rain so I'm not counting my squash this year. save rest of seeds for next year and start indoors. I expect next to have good harvest then. this is a wonderful tasting, texture squash. good keeper or cook and put into zip lock bags or containers and freeze for squash in winter. highly recommend this for winter squash lovers

i already have sprouts from the seeds, i have been looking for years for heirloom squash/ fruits and vegetables i wished they sold them in stores. i know they don't because i work for the home depot.

The seeds rotted in the ground .The ONE plant that came up,was very unhealthy and died about two weeks ago. It may be weather related but I have other varieties doing well.

There were only 10 seeds in my package. I planted them a little too early as the weather turned but one is growing well at this point.
