Old World Christmas Fish Collection Glass Blown Ornaments for Christmas Tree Alpine Rainbow Trout

Against my better judgment, my children tried a semi-rigged community carnival game that involved winning a goldfish if you got a ping pong ball into a container. I didn’t want a fish and felt weird about winning a living thing. My wife assured me that there was 0% chance my child would win. She is not my most coordinated kid, so I shrugged and we let her try. The first two shots made me think that this was a very rigged game and we were in the clear. On the third ball, my daughter developed the hand eye coordination of a fraternity brother at a house party and drilled a ping pong ball into the container. The worker reached into a knockoff Igloo cooler and pulled out three bags, each containing a goldfish that was in the cooler (fish purgatory) for some unknown period. My efforts to remind the carnival game engineer that this was too many fish went unheeded, as he generously offers each of my three children a fish for the successful ping pong ball.These fish died very quickly and I thought this ornament would be a good memory of their brief time in our care. Rest in peace, fishies.(The ornament is very nice, good quality, and similar to other excellent Old World Christmas ornaments that are on our tree.)

I was worried this ornament might be too small, but it was the perfect size! You can easily find it on a tree without it being large and gaudy. Great for the subtle fisherman in your life.

This is a beautiful 3D ornament and a good size too! My husband who loves bass fishing loved it as a stocking stuff gift!

The only thing I'd like better is if it came with a string for hanging on a tree.As far as the ornaments themselves, they're high quality and "old-timey". No complaints.

Beautiful ornament, looked as described. A little paint was rubbed off the tail from packaging but nothing major. Would buy again.
