Classy and fun. The Best Tree Topper I've found.
I love this tree topper. I'll try to address some of the negative reviews here.I see many complaints about the size, I think they're unfounded - if it was bigger I think it'd look cheesy. The star is about average size with Santa and his team measuring about 2" tall and 11" long. The size makes it subtle yet unique.Santa orbits the star not the tree. Keep this in mind when reading the reviews that complain that Santa doesn't light up. I believe the intent is that it creates a silhouette look in low light situations. This is much like you might see in old children's books when they show Santa flying past the moon or a Christmas Star.Installation should work well with a real tree, a fake tree, a big tree or a little tree. The Star does not slide on top of the tree like a traditional one would. Instead the star sits atop a rod that runs along the trunk of the tree. The rod is attached to the tree using common zip ties (included are several years worth of zip ties). If you had an exceptionally large trunk you can easily connect two zip ties together to increase the length. You might also want to note that Santa and his reindeer due appear to be delicate and are not intended to be handled by children.

Beautiful
It is small and hard to see from the floor on my 9’ tree but it is beautiful. I have 18’ ceilings in the living room and the tree is in the corner next to the open stairway so the star is eye level from the landing. The detail on each of the reigndeer is really nice but hard to see from the ground level. With that said regardless of not being able to see all the fine details at the top of my tall tree it still looks awesome up there and is definitely a talking point when guests come over. Having it spin around the tree is just not something everyone has seen before. I love it. They love it. It really is a great piece. As for the comments about the noise, I can hear it when there is nothing else on in the house but with people talking, tv or music in the background or even the sound of the house settling I can not hear it at all or it is very minimal and not at all bothersome.

i can't say I HATE it, but.......
It is pretty. Thi sis my second one. The first I can't say how it worked because my then two year old pulled down the tree and it broke into a gazillion pieces. I was so sad because I loved it and it was perfect for my tree. Bought this one because he is older now and less likely to have him pull down tree. When it arrived, I tested it and it cut on and spun. So I put it on my tree all excited that my topper was back. I have yearned for it since broken years ago. This one spins and lights up for maybe five minutes. Then it cuts off and needs unplugged. After about an hour it will work for another five minutes. Repeat. I had to leave it on my tree because it is not the easiest topper to get on and off and its held in place by zip ties. There was no way to take it off without having to re-decorate the entire tree. I am hoping that the company will still take it back since it was purchased before thanksgiving and had to sit broken on the top of my tree for the season. I wish it worked because it is very pretty. Won't work if you have white lights because the star is sort of yellow, but since my kdis love the gaudy colorful lights, it worked fine for me. If it actually worked.

I think this is the best topper I've ever had
It is small how it look on this tree the image of the topper it's about that small. Don't compare it to the tree, because this background does make it look bigger but the image of the topper is fairly accurately. The star ornament is a lot bigger but when your looking up and you are looking at different angels then it make sense. I think this is the best topper I've ever had. It is on a timer so it does stop spinning after so many hours and then you have to turn it back on. Alot of my family and friends like it, my father in law I think actually was thinking about getting himself one. It looks awesome on the tree, watch the reindeers circle around the tree with the sleigh . It made my home feel like Christmas . If you want something different and unique for your Christmas. I suggest this topper

Beautiful, well made, but too tiny for my tree
Its Thomas Kincaid so of course it's all perfect xmas nostalgia in a box. But my tree is only 9ft and it looked so tiny way up there. Sad!

This is an awesome topper!
This is a really nice topper and my Grandkids all approve! Some people have been leaving reviews stating how the motor is very noisy and burned out quickly. The motor does make a tiny bit of a sound but you only hear it if the room is completely silent. After the motor has been running for about three hours it does shut itself off to conserve energy but you just flip the switch back and fourth and it is reset for another three hours. We have had it running every day for the past two weeks for about 6 hours a day and it has not had any troubles at all. As with any type of motor it will probably stop working some day and if it does, I will purchase another one if they are still being made.UPDATE: We have had this topper for 3 years now. it runs 6+ hours per day for the entire month of December and still runs flawlessly.
