This is the Second one I purchased - My Two cats love it!
Almost Two years ago I purchased one and hired a handyman to install it. Let me tell you my cat (Jazz) instantly made it his favorite. He was always on one of the perches or was sleeping on the top or in the little drum area. He doesnโt like hammockโs but that wasnโt biggie. Ten months ago I brought home a kitten to keep Jazz company. As soon as the kitten (Asher) was able to jump up on it, it became his favorite too! He likes sleeping in the hammock, and any other perch that Jazz isnโt on. Last week I noticed the top part was pretty loose from the wall, I could see the toggle anchors the handyman used and they were definitely coming out. The wall it was on is a hallow drywall and those toggle anchors werenโt the right anchors to hold over 100 lbs on that type of wall so it had to come off. I purchased this again and we now have the correct type of anchor for that wall. I of course had to repair the drywall since there were pretty large holes left from the anchors, and then the wall needed to be painted. Now thatโs all done, we are putting it up tonight. Itโs half way on the wall now & my cats are so excited that they are already jumping up on it! Iโm doing my best to keep them off until itโs completely done. This is the best cat condo Iโve purchased, and Iโve purchased quite a few. I highly recommend this for any size of cat. Jazz is a 11 pound Bombay & Asher is a 10 month old Black Tabby/Oriental mix that is already a bit taller & longer than Jazz. I will take a picture and post when weโre done.

Good and bad
I agree with all the reviews โ both positive and negative. (Except the one insane person who said the instructions were easy to follow. That person is nuts.)I agree that the padding is too thin. The wood pieces arrived scratched. The edges arenโt finished (though I didnโt think they were rough either). The anchors it came with were useless. The instructionsโฆ werenโt. They just werenโt instructions. Iโm not new to assembling furniture and the instructions were ridiculous. That saidโฆ my cats love it. It is definitely sturdy. There is nothing else like it on the market (Iโve looked). It is perfect for my needs. (I have dogs that like to pee on traditional cat trees, so mounting it in the wall prevents that, in addition to opening up floor space.) Overall, it looks nice. And again, the cats LOVE it.I may eventually replace the padding with something better, but I would buy it again. And I would recommend it to other people, with all the caveats above.

4 out of 5 kitties would recommend!!!
I have spent a year looking for wall mounted cat furniture and I am so glad I chose this one! It took a little longer to arrive than most Amazon orders but it was worth the wait! Hubby installed this pretty quickly with a quick trip to the hardware store to purchase higher rated wall anchors (just for peace of mind). We were able to interchange the parts to a configuration we felt would compliment our decor and suit our kitties activities. The photo is 4 of our 5 using it within minutes of complete installation. The other kitty is still napping elsewhere and will probably explore once she realizes there is something new in the house. In the long term we will probably secure the pads/cushions on the shelves with something more sturdy and replace the sisal rope as it gets used and shredded. We also are already considering painting the shelves to better match our decor plus give it a more finished look as the wood is unfinished/unstained.

Probably the best per dollar cat tree money can buy
I spent a long time looking at cat trees. Everything you can buy nowadays is too small ( in my opinion ) for adult cats, and too flimsy. The construction of those cheap towers you can buy on Amazon or local ( US based ) pet stores are cheap plastic and CARDBOARD.... I refuse to pay several hundred dollars for cardboard.Enter this cat tower. It is a mostly wood and plastic construction. The bed padding is a little on the thin side, I wish it was plushier... But otherwise this tower is flawless. It is a little difficult to assemble and hang. But doable by a single individual still. Not that hard, just harder than you'd want it to be.I am strongly considering buying another for another room. It isn't that expensive compared to other cat towers and is much better. This is a high quality product for a fantastic price.

PERFECT!!!!
So I'm kind of obsessive when it comes to finding things that are well made and that will match and fit with the decor of my house. Well... this cat tree is amazing! The construction of it is fantastic and fits right where it needed to. I was nervous about the delivery window being almost a month and no tracking number. But much to my surprise in came the first week of the window and everything in the box was tip top condition! Yes it a little on the expensive side but after easily putting it together its definitely going to stand the test of time. I would buy another one in a heart beat!

Missing pieces!
Was a huge p.i.a. to assemble even with another person helping. Was sent the wrong parts for the hammock portion of the cat tree, making it completely unusable. Would not recommend.

Looks amazing!
Bought this amazing tree a few weeks ago. Pretty straight forward assembly. Nothing broken yet and my cat tends to jump hard. A little difficult to attach to wall, only because it is very heavy. Attached it pieces, but the top was still heavy. Definitely needed two people. All that aside, it is beautiful! My kitty loves it, and we are very happy so far.

So many things wrong ๐
The media could not be loaded. ย Where do I start? ๐๐So first off this thing is heavy. We did the first bit somewhat wrong and built the whole thing at once but it worked out in the end.Second the wall anchors need a 10mm drill bit not an 8mm like in the instructions (of which there is NO English at all)And third when we finally got the wall anchors in the screws would not meet the thread through the wood of the mounts. I had to drill away at the top layer a bit for the screw to reach, so after a lot of swearing, panicking and crying... I got it on the wall. Not a great experience as a diy-er but my dad's a builder and he's taught me a lot over the years so I wasn't completely in the dark about how to go about fitting this. It was just extremely awkward to do well 90% of it on my own... My partner only helped hold it up for wall marking and mounting ๐OUR WALLS ARE SOLID BRICK. DO NOT ATTEMPT ON PLASTERBOARD ๐๐

Well built cat tree prototype...
This is a great prototype cat tree, but it deserves a few modifications...1) Re-wrap all posts with 12mm sisal rope to make then indestructible(you need 60m)2) Replace the hopeless supplied fixings with 8mm Rawlplugs and some beefy screws3) Varnish all bare wood surfaces4) Relocate the bottom shelf to the top left as it is superfluous for large cats5) Replace the 20mm Velcro with 50mm6) Add additional foam to some of the platforms7) Swap poles and platforms around for most suitable design8) Add other wall beds and a rope bridge!

Great tree but be prepared for extra cost
I needed a cat tree that was big enough to entertain my cat but not to big for the living room and this one fitted the bill perfectly. After reading many of the reviews and armed with the knowledge that there may be some extra expense I took the plunge. I had read that I may need to re wrap the posts and on inspection I did. The rope on the posts was extremely thin for the price of the tree I would have expected better. I used a 8 mm sisal rope which I think looks good and my cat canโt rip it to bits quite so easily. I ended up having to buy 125m with a bit left over it was a long job but well worth it ( used g a glue gun) we did need better, longer fixings as we wanted it to stay on the wall. The stitching could have been better as well which I will keep an eye on. Inside the house part the materials and come away but that was fixed the the glue gun. Even with the negative parts of the tree I am still glad I purchased it. It is sturdy, looks great in my living room and gets plenty of compliments., but most of all Sushi loves it, she is now thinks she is the queen of the castle.

Sturdy, solid construction.
Whilst we absolutely love the design of this cat tree, and it is really sturdy, our cats have completely annihilated the rope and the fabric, in less than 3 months. We are having to replace the poles, and I will also need to make new fabric covers in a much tighter weave of fabric. Our cats approve 200% of this tree and have loved it to death. So the cats give it 15 Stars for the pleasure of destroying it!The humans give it 3 stars because it really should look good for more than 2 months...First, they clawed inside the box and pulled all that fabric down. Then they comprehensively killed the cushions on every shelf, and the lower double platform cushion now does not lie flat inside the cover. Then they managed to scratch a hole in the rope and they unwrapped a pole. They are now working on the rope of the other poles with great satisfaction and pleasure! So this tree is very cat-approved!For a single cat, it is probably fine, but I would not recommend such an open-weave fabric on a cat tree, and the rope is not as strong as the rope on other trees we have owned before. Bearing in mind that we clip claws every week, this tree has not kept a beautiful appearance. However, it is as strong as a mountain once screwed into the wall. The construction is fantastic and I love it! It is going to get a face-lift with new poles and will then last forever! We are happy to keep this tree and replace the poles, so in a way, it was exactly what we wanted. Something the cats enjoy. And they ADORE this tree!We may also need to replace the plywood, as it is showing signs of wear as well, with lots of claw marks...Cats. They scratch. It's a thing!

Would highly recommend
Delivered within 24 hours, didn't pay for next day delivery so that was a bonus. Really really easy to put up. I did it in my own in about half hour. Really sturdy and the wood is solid. Only issue is that it didn't come with one out of the 8 screws it needed, but luckily I had them in the house already, also, one of the round levels didn't have the velcro on (I thought I'd built it upside down but I didn't) other than thay really really pleased and super impressed. Would definitely recommend. Especially since this product is bigger and better than one we were going to buy from pets and home and this one only cost ยฃ3 extra
