The Kube is an amazing invention which is certainly a conversation piece. The sound quality is its best feature, combined with portability and 20+ hours of play without plugging in. I have brought it to several parties and you really have to see and hear it to believe it.Kube comes packaged well with the handles ready for attachment with included tools. It took less than 2 minutes before I was able to stream music to it after connecting it to my home Wi-Fi. I normally keep it on my back patio next to the pool plugged in. This allows me to airplay or Spotify music to it without ever having to turn it on since it stays in standby mode. It's important to point out that connecting this way is FAR superior to Bluetooth since it significantly increases the range you have without the music dropping. If I'm having a party, I bring it closer to the pool so I don't have to turn the volume as high. I live on 4 acres but if you turn Kube all the way up, you can hear it down the hill about a half mile away, so I'm cognizant of my neighbors.Obviously it can play loudly but the audio quality even at higher levels is what is most impressive. There is virtually no distortion whatsoever, and everyone that sees it for the first time can't believe the sound that comes out of this wireless box. Combine that with the fact that it is totally waterproof (you can put this in a tube and float with it down the river), and you have the perfect outdoor audio solution no matter where you want to take it. For comparison, I recently bought Klipsch speakers with a powergate amplifier, and the Kube is not only just as powerful, but is tuned better in my opinion.  Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers and Powergate Amplifier Bundle, Black .I only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it is quite heavy, especially when full of ice and drinks. I can lift it by myself but prefer to have someone help me if available. I also bought it at $1349 only to see the price drop to $999 a week later. Now it's up to $1149 -- I wish the manufacturer would just settle on a consistent price and leave it there. I also think it should support Airplay 2, given this is a premium high quality sound system. It would also be nice if there were different colors you could order.

I received my KUBE from Amazon prime in two days and it barely fit through my front door. The item is packaged very well and it is easy to open up and set up, once you make some room to do so. The kit includes everything you need, including tools to put the handles on, which are a nice brushed aluminum finish. Once unpacked, I plugged it in and set up the wifi feature to sync with my streaming music accounts. This process took about 3 minutes to complete.I consider myself an audiophile, and I enjoy listening to hi-fi music on a nice stereo system. Music makes me happy, especially when it is presented in a truthful manner. I can testify that the KUBE speaker has ample dynamic range and plenty of power to provide ample bass response in a large outdoor area. The bass and treble are very balanced and even at very high volumes, there was no distortion. I tried every genre of music, including hip-hop to make sure it handled the bass well, and it did! This cooler is perfect for tailgating, camping, boating, and outdoor parties. The only issue is the weight once you load it up... might not be the best to carry to the beach.PROS:- High quality sound, even at very high volume- Long 50hr battery life (when playing at medium (which is very loud) volume- Looks are awesome - people all want to know where I got it- Very helpful LED light inside for night time use- Comes with additional adapters for other countries and all necessary tools- Easy to set up and get going!CONS:- Nearly 50lbs empty so not the most portable item, but I don't need to move it so no problem here- It can be bulky in a trunk so it's best to transport via back seat or in a SUVOVERALL I highly recommend this for anyone who wants great sound in their backyard, boat, or especially tailgating... this cooler cranks and the battery lasts a long time. The build quality is exceptional so I expect this to last a long time. Enjoy!

I haven’t been this excited to open up and play with a new product since I got my first iPhone over 10 years ago.Sound quality and volume is elite. Mix that with a top of the line cooler, and this may be my nirvana product.I am going to use this for tailgates, on my boat at the lake, for soccer practice warmups for my son’s youth soccer team, and for sitting in my front yard listening to music, watching the world go by.I’ve been watching this product for a while, and I am so glad I pulled the trigger in time for summer.

I have to start that the concept is great and when I hard wired my iPad to it, the sound was amazing. Also, the materials were very nice and the overall presentation was impressive. So why return it? I couldn't get the wifi to connect to my iPhone, iPad or Mac. I followed the instructions to the letter and each time I got an error message. I looked to update the software and it couldn't be installed because the wifi wasn't connect to the internet. It is a shame.On a side note the item I received was definitely reboxed. There were scuff marks on the casing and dried tape residue on the aluminum.

Amazing Sound. Nothing else compares to sound this box puts out. Unlike other boxes the same size I can put ice and drinks in this one without damaging the sound quality. Yes it is 40lbs dry... but who would have thought you could have this much sound and tech in a cooler? Works BT, and Wifi connection. I can even pair it with my friends Kube.

The sound is just out of this world for a portable system and the cooler is just icing on the cake...

Great sound, handy cooler. Great for a day in the yard. Heavier than livestock though. Bring a friend to help you carry it.
