This light is rechargeable with a usb lead (comes with the light). I was worried it went dim on my second usage. It could be, it wasn’t fully charged. As soon as I charged it up again it was bright.I use my light for knitting. I’m using very dark yarn and the light makes it so easy to see the stitches clearly. In fact I only need one side light on. It doesn’t seem to interfere with anyone else watching TV nor does it interfere with my watching TV.I think I can find other uses for this light but I wanted it mainly for knitting in a fairly dark room. It’s great for that.It is slightly annoying that I cannot bend it exactly where or how I want, yet the light spreads out, so it’s just a matter of getting used to it.

Was looking for a light to use while reading in bed (without disturbing my husband) - and this is it!!Does the job perfectly.

This light is absolutely perfect for my needs. I use it for embroidery, puzzling, reading, all sorts of stuff in a room that doesn't get much daylight. The multiple brightness options are amazing, and the ability to move and direct the light is so useful. I was worried the build might be cheap as the cost is so low, but I think it is decent quality, and it's very soft around the neck due to the fabric they have chosen. I especially love the extra bit of soft material on the section that sits on the back of your neck, it's only a small thing but it makes the light super comfortable. Highly recommend this item.

The media could not be loaded.  This is fantastic and has made crocheting so much easier and enjoyable. I use this daily for many hours and only have to charge it twice maybe three times a week. It has never actually run out on me, just gets dimmer as the battery goes big thenI just change it to four bulbs not two. I leave it to charge over night ready to use the next day. I have to use 2 mm hooks or smaller so very detailed work and this makes using dark yarn a breeze. I wish I had thought of buying it years ago!

This an excellent solution for reading anywhere including armchair or bed. Once set up the light does not move. Unlike lights which are attached to a book. There are 3 brightness settings and either side can be used alone. Charging was fast

This light is brilliant! I do a lot of craft and this means that I can see clearly without making the whole room really bright for anyone else. It's comfy and easy to direct the lights to where you want them to be. I wish the battery lasted slightly longer or at least charged slightly quickly, but other than that it is brilliant. I love that there are different levels of light too.Sadly I am editing my review to change it from five stars to two because it no longer works. Literally one day it decided to stop charging and so I cannot use it anymore. I'm returning it and have bought a light pad instead.

Well I like it just right for me when reading my book in bed and will be great for when I go away nice and brightWhen I first open it it had a sickly smell to it the smell did go after left out of box also it’s great to great into the places tht other torches can reachI will get buy it again

Hmm, not very bright, at least I didn’t find it so. Needs recharging after a few hours and I read a lot at night/in gloomy conditions (I’m in Scotland) so that was also a bit annoyingHard to get the position right and that shifts constantly just with your bodies movements, so if you stretch or have a drink or something you have to readjust it again and again.Have to say I don’t think I’m really a fan.I’ll keep it, may be handy in an emergency but it’s not a favourite
