I noticed the reviews for this popcorn were pretty good, only a few complaints, so I took a chance. I put it in my whirly pop kettle and it came out great! Light, fluffy and crispy with a hint of that buttery saltiness of theater popcorn. The chewiness that some people are talking about is likely due to eating it is soon as it's done. It needs time to cool just a little to get the crunch that you're accustomed to with movie popcorn.Also you might have a lower amount of unpopped kernels if you don't set your stove at the right setting. I had very few unpopped kernels and hulls. I will definitely be buying this brand again.

these are pretty good. I have not tried other brands, but so far, the results have been as good or better than expected (using a heavy aluminum pot and clear glass top, nothing really special). I did buy a special 'hand crank' popcorn making pot but the hand crank is mostly useless and I just use it as a heavy aluminum cooking pot and use my own lid instead of the 'turn the crank' style. (the crank was ruining the fluffy popcorn so it didn't really help with the cooking process and just crushed the popcorn). just use a regular pot, use medium heat and shake the pot back and forth (holding the lid down while you do it) and you should get decent results.

Delicious popcorn that is convenient to make. Bought a CuiZen popcorn popper that has a 4-ounce kettle for my wife's birthday. Ordered a case of this popcorn to go with it, somewhat arbitrarily because there are several choices available. This worked out GREAT. It's easy to use, just empty the shortening into the kettle, heat a couple minutes, then pour in your popcorn and run it through its cycle. The separate compartments on the pouch make it simple. You get a big batch of hot, tasty popcorn without a lot of "old maids". Not much else to say, if you like theater popcorn this is pretty close! A good value.

I think these Snap-Paks are damn close to the movie theater experience. We have had our Great Northern machine for about 6 months, and the only other brand I tried were the Great Northern packs. Those were okay too, but I found these to have not only a better flavor, but a better consistency. Now in Great Northern's defense, they have great ratings too. This leads me to believe that a lot of this stuff is "batch" based and it's possible that one order could be great, while others, not so much. However, we will be sticking with Snap-Paks for our next order.One thing to note is the coconut oil in the Snap-Paks doesn't harden like most other coconut oils. These are liquid most of the time. Even when freezing, the oil doesn't seem to freeze as much. Let me preference my review by saying I am a popcorn fanatic who consumes it at least 3 times a week. I have been buying all-in-one coconut popcorn packages for over 20 years. I bought this because my usual brand was out of stock. This was disappointing for several reasons.It touts coconut oil but I don't believe the oil used is 100% as promised. The flavor of theatre popcorn is not in this product. The size of the popped kernels is smaller than other all-in-one packages I've purchased. While other reviewers say this popcorn is stale, I have not found that in what I bought, but it doesn't match the flavor and fluffiness of others I have purchased. I used my stovetop popper with this product the same way I always have with other popcorn. The results were disappointing no matter how much I varied the temperature of the oil before adding the popcorn. I cannot recommend this product although admittedly I am a 'popcorn snob.'

I was surprised at how good the portion size was, much better than some of the other 4oz packet's I've bought. Flavor is pretty good, not too salty. My favorite way to make the popcorn is to turn on the maker (heat and warmer) and leave the packet laying on the bottom of the warmer, so the oil melts to liquid. Then poor both into the popper at the same time. Gets good coverage and makes it less messy.
