PetrodexDeluxe Finger Toothbrush for Dogs and Cats, 2 count

My little fluffy dog can be moody when he’s having hygiene performed. You’d think he’d be happy someone’s brushing his teeth. I mean, those of us writing reviews have to brush our own teeth, yet he has someone to brush his. Thankfully, he’s elderly and missing some teeth- he was adopted a few months back after being found as a stray in deplorable condition, and I decided he’d live a live of royalty with me. His remaining choppers include 2 terrifying fangs, and so far this finger device has safely allowed me to pamper his teeth, without me loosing a finger. I’m not sure I’d trust it if he was say an 80 pound aggressive dog, but it does it’s job for a little grumpy fluff ball AND keeps my finger intact so I’m happy.

It’s ok. I have to get used to it. It’s kind of awkward. Think I’d rather use a brush or a not so fancy finger brush.

The little rubber nubs are not able to clean as well as a classic bristle brush. I’d love to find this style product with actual resource! It would be the perfect tool.

We use this with the Petrodex enzymatic toothpaste - poultry flavor. The thumb loop on these is really great for making them fit a variety of finger sizes; my husband and I can both use it fine, though it's a little loose for me. Negatives: It's a little hard to navigate into the cheeks of my dog's mouth sometimes and toothpaste gets stuck in the bristles and is hard to wash out, so I don't know how great of a job they're doing distributing the toothpaste on the dog's teeth. That said, I like the maneuverability and control it provides over a traditional toothbrush. My dog also likes to gently gnaw the bristles when they have toothpaste on them, so it's almost like she's brushing her own teeth :)

I have used several different dog tooth brushes. What I like about this one is it flexes a little bit so you can really get into the nooks and crannies and clean your dogs teeth without hurting them.

This. One is the best I’ve found so far. It seems to be made of a durable plastic with sturdy bristles. A finger brush is the only type my dog will allow me to use on her teeth. I like it b/c you can feel where you are brushing.Highly recommend!Cs

My finger does get a little icky since dog spit just comes right into the holes that make the finger brush flexible, but other than that, this product was amazing. My dog is actually really tolerant of handling, so I have been brushing her teeth with a human toothbrush. She didn't mind it, but it was harder to get past her licking tongue and sometimes her gums would bleed from the rather rough treatment.With this finger brush, I was able to do a much more thorough job and no blood! I'm not sure if the rubber-like bristled clean as well as the hair-like bristles, but I'm sticking with these.

My Chihuahua was born with a mitral valve leak (heart) and my vet told me it was important to keep her teeth clean and healthy. I have tried several products but can't seem to find anything that will make the job run smooth. This product would have worked great except it (and my finger) are too large to get in her mouth, especially between the gums and cheek. However, I believe it would be a 5-star product for those who have larger dogs. The bristles are soft, but not too soft; it stayed on my finger without problems; and it has a safety loop to keep it from being swallowed.

Antes utilizaba un cepillo de dientes estilo "normal" pero me dí cuenta que lastimaba las encías de mis doggies y obvio ellos odiaban cuando les tocaba su cepillado de dientes. Termine por buscar una alternativa y me topé con este producto y debo de decir que hasta ahorita me ha funcionado bastante bien. No batallo a la hora de cepillar sus dientes porque como este producto se pone sobre el dedo es fácil controlar la cantidad de fuerza que aplicarías al momento de realizar el aseo bucal de tus mascotas. Al momento de cepillar los dientes de mis doggies lo hago estimulando primero sus encías y después tallando sus dientes ligeramente y para ellos termina siendo relajante si se realiza correctamente. Obviamente se debe de utilizar con una pasta o mezcla que sea segura para tus mascotas y NO la pasta de dientes que nosotros utilizamos. Creo que sale sobrando mencionar esto pero el único detalle es que obviamente quedaría la babita de tus mascotas en tus dedos después de utilizar el producto. Fuera de eso realiza su función bastante bien sin lastimar a tu mascota.

El producto se ve igual que en la foto de muestra, me imaginé un material más suave puesto que es para dar masaje en encías y dientes, en lo personal quiero algo más suave

Muy bien, los uso para mi Schnauzer miniatura y mi Rottweiler.
