Game Changer!
I have a ten-pound cat and a seven-pound cat. One eats like he's starving and it's the last time I'm going to feed him. He ends up vomiting. The other, smaller cat is petite and eats slowly. Obvious, it's impossible to separate them when feeding. I have tried everything at every available pet store. Nothing worked until this. I wanted to make sure that my finicky eater didn't go hungry while my other cat also got to eat without hoarding all the food. This Wangstar Slow Pet Bowl Slow Feeder has revolutionized the experience! Both of my cats have fun eating. They interact with the bowl and claw out what the want. There is no more mess on the floor from scattered cat food. And my litter boxes are not overfilled with unmentionable smells that are created from improperly digested food. Now that my cats eat more slowly they get full without gorging their tummies. My cat food bill is also less. The bottom of the dish has rubber-like stoppers that keep it from making hardly any noise if it moves. There is also a small bag of extra stoppers if you ever need them. This is a great part of the dish because our cats really love to interact with it when they eat and it would be unpleasant to hear plastic scraping across the floor. It's sturdy, not flimsy in the least.

Wonderful dish
This is great for our three cats. They've all had to slow way-y-y down when eating and I honestly think they are now having fun. They push it all around the floor but it has never tipped over. It's so funny to watch when two of them get on each side of the dish and pull it back and forth as they are ready to paw out the next piece of cat food. And since I've started using this and a different style of slow feeder, I haven't had a single throw-up anywhere - that's really nice!

Ddin't Work For My Cats
I have 4 cats. Two stay at one end of the house and two at the other end. So, I bought the two bowl pack. All the cats can't get their mouth or tongue down between the grooves. Had to keep the bowl filled to the rim so they could eat. Defeats the purpose. One of the cats tried using her paw to get the food out. She ended up moving the bowl all around because it would not stay in place. I also had one cat refuse to eat. If a cat refuses to eat for an extended period of time, they can get "fatty liver". There are way to many grooves in this bowl for a cat. Plus they are very close together. The one I have for a dog would work better because the grooves aren't so close together. But, the bowl is to deep.

Fabulous bowl for dogs familiar with puzzel toys, but may not work for all dogs
This bowl is fabulous. Got it for my daughter for Christmas. She can't feed her dog out of a regular bowl because the dog will bolt her food in less than a minute. But sometimes the dog gets tired of chasing kongs around the kitchen for every meal. This provides a nice alternative. It keeps her busy and makes her work, while allowing her to still sit quietly and eat, unlike the kongs. There are some disadvantages though. This will not stand up to heavy chewers left unsupervised. The dog can never be left alone with the bowl because she will destroy it as soon as she is done and there is no more food. This will also not be a good choice for dog with very large snouts or who cannot use their tongues to scoop the food out. My daughter's dog uses her giant tongue to scoop the kibble out. There is no way she can get her nose in there, but that's ok for us because it provides her more of a challenge.Dogs who aren't motivated enough to work hard to get the food out will hate it.My daughter's dog is already trained to eat out of puzzle toys. If your dog has never tried a puzzle toy before, it may take some coaxing. Even so, it took a little extra incentive the first few meals (treats hidden among the food) to encourage her to eat out of it. It is much smaller than it appears in the pictures though, so buyer beware.

Best dog-goned bowl!
I never thought my dog was a fast eater because she didn't always finish her food. When I saw the description of this bowl, I realized she was eating very fast, feeling full, then coming back much later to gobble up the rest. Every so often she would vomit - not food or foreign substances, just that impossible to remove yellow stain. I ordered this bowl in March and she loves it. It is like a food game for her and she finishes her food. It is now 2 full months since I began using this bowl and she has never vomited. This bowl solved an indigestion problem I didn't realize she had. The bowl is very easy to clean and is suitable for small to medium size dogs. There are other choices for larger dogs. I was asked to comment on what I didn't like - no comment! I love it and so does my dog. I ordered another one for when we travel. When I opened the box, my dog was so excited. Who could ask for more?

A+ works awesome. 30 secs to 4+ mins
Life saver!!! My dog basically inhaled food and was constantly puking all of it up intact. 30 seconds and food gone. Last time I timed her at it was just over 4 mins. I was worried she would be frustrated but nope. Hasn’t affected her. It’s plastic so maybe a chewer would attempt it but idk. I got the large which makes the food spread out more. Not sure how deep the Small is but my Pit has no issues getting tongue to get the food. About a foot wide. Pics show depth and scale.

Perfect size, easy to clean and does the intended job well
perfect size for chow for my 60 lb dog that gets 1 cup of food in am and 1 cup in pm - dish could hold up to 4 cups easily tho. Pretty sturdy and the inclusion of the rubber stoppers on the bottom kept the dish in place on the kitchen floor through his rooting and traveling around the bowl to get all the pellets out. He has a shorter snout so was worried about the depth of the bowl & ridges before purchase, but no problems at all. It was a little bit easier to clean as well than originally thought, my scrub pad fit in all the nooks & crannies. What I love about this is that it truly slows down his intake, so he's no longer just inhaling & swallowing, which caused him to throw up on occasion and none of that has happened since this bowl.
