HUNTER PGP-ADJ (Box of 20)

My system is about 1A with 12 stations and over 90 heads. The system was installed about 25 years ago. Given the age, and the fact that I have done little maintenance for several years, these heads are very durable. As far as I can tell the overall performance is exactly as specified. I set the range and turn angle to match each location with only a few minutes effort. While the install, and adjustment are very easy, the 20+ year old unit is not so simple to dig out. Twenty years of turf and root growth bury the old unit about 1 to2 inches. I know, not part of the review, but I need to mention the effort. I purchased the 20 unit box because of the discount, and it is nearly 1/2 used. Considering the system age the rest are about a life time supply. Great units I would use nothing else.

I have many sprinklers so the value pack of 20 is the most cost efficient. At around $10 each, you save over local hardware stores. Packed well. Work well. I just replace the heads. Leave the old can in the ground unless damaged.

So I bought a house that was run down and needed work. One of the things I found, was a sprinkler system. Once I figured it all out and turned it on....it all works. I needed to add sprinklers so I dug one up....all are Hunter...so I ordered the same. After years buried and run over they ALL still worked. So I installed the new hunter sprinkler heads and I love it.

I like the Hunter sprinklers because of their ease of installation and adjustment. This company is has a great value on them and I’ve used them before.

Exactly what I ordered. It also came with a RED tree that held all of the different size tips for EACH sprinkler head in the box.

My irrigation system was installed 18 years ago. Just thought it was time to replace them. Very happy with the system.

Good Hunter product. Maybe I’m influenced by the Hunter quality but they do perform much better than their competitors over time.
