Charming Little House
I wanted a dollhouse with a simple interior so I could create an “exterior interior” and this one fit the bill. I’ve assembled other Greenleaf dollhouses so I knew what to expect. The boards are a little rough, it will require sanding, and I used wood glue during assembly for a very strong finished house. I loved the charming look and it came together pretty quickly. (Mine is supposed to represent “home,” current day and in childhood memories.)

I knew as soon as I opened the box that this would be disappointing.
The low quality quality of the wood should have been a red flag, but I felt up to the challenge because I had built a dollhouse from a kit before. The wood itself is messy even before you touch it with sandpaper. It splinters and the layers separate easily so that the tabs and slots felt forced together.I got the foundation, walls, and floors built but was so disappointed in how it looked that I put all unused pieces back in the box and taped it shut. The unfinished house is sitting on top of it, looking like a spanked child. To the experts who built the house in the photo: Kudos to making the cottage look so adorable. I am in awe of your patience and skill. I am now building a kinder, three times more expensive house from a kit maker I've had great satisfaction with in the past.

More frustrating than anticipated
A caveat: I have not yet complete putting this house together. The materials involved in this kit are disappointing. While safely packed, I was still surprised that the wood had been able to survive shipping. It is very splintery and splits if you look at it sideways. I'm hoping that glue and paint will help it to become a bit more sturdy, but there is a reason behind the kit's claim of "No Nails Needed!"-- the wood wouldn't be able to handle it.

Too cute for words!
Absolutely adorable house. Working on it as a 'retirement' project. Lots of fun...takes this senior back to her childhood days.

Great time building
This is a great to do something with your hands and build with your kids. The shipping was fast and all the parts were labeled correctly. It was a fun time to build with my niece.

Cheap. Horrible.
Very poor quality. Difficult to disconnect pieces from sheet. Break. Splinter. Heavy sanding is required and not easy to do with thing balsa..compound...whatever pressed combo this is. Recommend using another company's product. And return policy is impossible.
