Pro Pac OT-XL Tool Bag

As an HVAC tech I need to pack a lot of tools with me. Over the last 15 years, I have purchased a CLC (Custom Leather Craft) bag about every year and a half to two years. One thing about the CLC, is the tools are in a constant state of chaos. The slots to put tools in just don't cut the mustard. Talking to some HVAC tech buddies of mine I hadn't seen in about 10 years, they were talking about their "Veto" bags. Curious, I started researching them. I fell in love with what I saw and read about. So I ordered the Veto Pro Pac OT-XL. I am simply amazed with how organized my tool bag is now. The thing is built like a tank. It is well made and sturdy. They are expensive, but so far, with the quality of build, the ability to organize my tools I believe it is worth every penny.

ive been carrying this bag at work for a few years it notmally weighs around 40 lbs loaded but i have pilled power tools on top of that and over loaded it many times. no rips or tears or wear really. great bag

I always try to seek out and purchase the best tools on the market. I find that the increased price associated with the best tools is off set by the relibility and performance you get in return. Tool bags are no different. I purchased my 1st Veto Pro Pac a couple of years ago and it's held up better than anything else I've owned or seen. When they came out with the open top series last year, I knew I had to have one. I've gone through what seems like every open top bag on the market, Bucket Boss, CLC, Klein and several no name products. None of which had the configuration of pockets & pouches that made sense or simply didn't hold up. I use an open top bag as sort of a jump bag that I take onto every job. In it I keep a wide array of hand tools, a small Bosch Litheon driver, multi meter, flashlight, moisture meter etc. In this bag I have 99% of the time the small tools I'll need for most any type of repair I encounter on a service call. It saves countless trips to the truck. It's a super well made bag that will last a lifetime. It looks good too!

I have been in the construction and remodel industry for over 20 years. Ive used lots of different means to get my tools from the truck to the worksite, everything from Bucketboss to CLC bags to rubbermaid totes. All of which do a decent job I suppose. However the Veto Proc XL is far supperior in quality and craftsmanship to anything else on the market right now. It has plenty of room to store all of the tools I use on a daily basis plus some of the more specialzed stuff I only use every once in a while. I've only had the bag for a month so i'll update this mid summer and let you all know how it's holding up. So far it's fantastic! you will not be disappointed if you buy this. The steep pricetag had me a little leary at first but once I received the bag it set my mind at ease. Hope this helps! have a great day! and good luck!

I’m a journeyman sheet metal worker in the union in Chicago. I use my tool bag all day everyday. It’s the most important part of my job . I have had tens of bag and boxes maybe close to a hundred I have been doing this since I was 18 and I’m 43 now . These bags r the best thing u can buy . Who cares about the price . Do it u wont b dissatisfied.

Buy once and cry once with a Vito bag. These bags are very well built while layer out perfectly for the trades. All of your most used tools have their own spot for quick access. Be warned these bags hold so many tools that they can quickly become to heavy to pick up! This is my second Vito bag as a gift to my Dad for Christmas. I have always been super happy with the quality product Vito makes. 10/10 I would recommend!!

I have been using this bag for two weeks and as an electrician I used it everyday. It carries all my most important tools and it fits perfectly on my cart (rubbermaid foam cart). I was afraid that it might be too heavy but ergonomically it is perfect and balanced very well. It is hard to describe it but it is in a word, perfect. Keep my tools organized and helps me keep my tools in check in case I'm missing something... Good job to the designer and it is a blessing to know that there is still people with common sense to design something great in America...

I wasn't expected to get a tool bag this heavy; however, it is extremely well made and I have doubt it will last a lifetime. The reason I did not place this at 5 stars deals with the pockets: there are two zippered pockets against the center wall that don't go more than a couple of knuckles deep, this limits their effectiveness. There are numerous pockets on the outside, but none of them are open-bottomed - thus one cannot place a long screwdriver or such there. Suggestion for improvement would be for Veto Pro Pac to include a padded, Velcro locked pouch on the outside where one could store eyeglasses.

Love this tool bag, makes life so much easier and more organised for a tradesman using a lot of hand tools! Of course the first thing that jumps out at you is the price, yes it is expensive but this is definitely a case of ‘get what you pay for’! The build quality is superb and robust, the number of pockets etc for various tools makes tool organisation a dream and my life as a plumber so much easier! It is quite weighty when filled but to be honest, just get used to it! Because everything is organised it makes you keep it that way so you don’t have any uneccessary tools etc unlike other tool bags where things are just chucked in and left to forget about. If there’s one thing I’d like this bag to have, it would be a detachable cover of some sort, as it does get dusty quite easily if you’re not careful and keep it out the way of drilling or other trades. Something like on the Facom bags would be ideal.

Brilliant tool bag, never have to empty my tools onto the floor to find what I need anymore, everything is visible and to hand, a little pricey but definitely worth it👍

After looking over many YouTube videos and reading lots of reviews online I decided to bite the expensive bullet and buy this open top version of a Veto Pro Pac. I've had it for 4 weeks and I can't imagine going back to a toolbox, it's so good for keeping your tools in order and in a place that doesn't slow you down by having to move other tools to get to other tools! As an electrician I like to have my tools where I can see them for quick and easy access. You can also see if there's any tools missing if they're not in their specific location pocket. They are very expensive (8 X the price of a Stanley FatMax bag) But the quality is also 8 X a Stanley FatMax bag! I will be doing a full UK review of this OTXL Veto Pro Pac on YouTube in the coming few weeks, I just wanted to share some thoughts and pics with you so far.
