Loreal Superior Preference - 6a Light Ash Brown, (Pack of 3)

Perfect color for me. The "ash" makes it browns and blondes (the cool colors) rather than the garish reds I sometimes get from other products. I am 56 and partly gray now, but I was a light brunette. This matches my old color pretty perfectly.

To start off with the positive, this product does cover the gray and leaves your hair silky and shiny. On the negative side, the color is so off! This is NOT ash, it gives red highlights! And it is NOT a light brown, it is a light/medium brown.This product is not the same color as the older version. Very disappointed.I have been using the older version of this product for years, and this new version is NOT the same color!. It is NOT "cooler ash", it is "warmer" and makes red highlight. So if you are looking for ASH brown, this product is not for you!

So happy….. —bought this brand and cool color on a whim (light ash brown). My hair always pulls brassy EXCEPT for this time! I’m loving this and buying more today as backup. Also covered some gray roots..:)
