First FRCR - Physics
By my calculations there are 3 recently published books covering the physics component of the First FRCR, which are updated to reflect the new curriculum (to include US and MR). Out of all of them, I think this one is the best and most comprehensive. Firstly, it contains the most number of questions (over 400 - each containing 5 stems, not like some other falsely advertised). Secondly, the answer sections are fairly comprehensive and can almost be used as revision notes on their own. The authors have made several diagrams and tables and included these in the answer sections, and these come in very handy during revising as well as improving your understanding. Lastly, it is extensively referenced to Farr's and Dendy's books (with exact page numbers) and other books, including journals and even e-LDs which if you were particularly motivated you can go and read further to enhance your understanding. Most of the time, you don't need to as the answer section is fairly self-explanatory but it is there if you need to. I found the CT, NM and MR sections a little difficult but I think this is likely to reflect the changing curriculum as I heard that there is increasing emphasis on these in the exams and a move away from traditional modalities. All in all, if you were to choose to invest in one book for the Physics module, I would definitely buy this one.

The best MCQ book for FRCR1 Physics
I used a fair few question books in the run up to the FRCR1 exam - this one was the most reflective of the exam with some of the questions in the actual exam being very similar to ones in this book. It is important to note that there have been changes in the legislation and doses, so some questions in that particular chapter are a bit out of date. There are a few errors here and there but I've found that to be the case in a lot of the books out there.

Best book for First FRCR physics
I tried several MCQ books and online question banks. This was the best in terms of difficulty and similarity to the real exam.

Must buy for the FRCR part 1!!!!
The best question book for the FRCR physics examination which I sat for in March 2018. Get this book and the Mair book coupled with the synap (oxford revision questions) online. They are most identical and similar to the exam level of questions..

Excellent resource but frustrating mistakes
Lots of useful diagrams in the answer section and questions that really test your understanding. However, there are a lot of mistakes!!Unfortunately, I haven't found a better resource than this one, so would still recommend despite the mistakes.
