The World of Trees

The book arrived on time and in excellent condition.

I loved this book. It is written in a concise and extremely knowledgeable manner, but is a “friendly” read and hard to put down. It is a little Brit-centric, but that did not detract from its value at all.

This book "The World of Trees" is very good for common trees, but says virtually nothing on exotic world trees like Lignum Vitae, Zebrawood or Ipe, for example. Those are also world trees and they are some of the most awesome trees in the world.

I like Hugh Johnson; however captions for fotos are too small to easily read.

This is an amazing book. If you like trees and want more than just pictures; this is a great resource. It was given to me as a gift and I will never part with it  The World of Trees  .

This is a book I will turn to again and again. The photographs and diagrams are endless and the accompanying text is rich in description that is effortless to read and understand. Highly recommend this to any nature lover!

I bought this book to mainly enjoy the pictures. I am thoroughly happy with it and have it handy all the time.
