I have had The Wisdom of the Tarot since the 80s by the same author - It’s a brilliant reference book, btw. Initiation was in my amazon basket for months before I bought it, and as these things go, at just the right time. It has so many elements and synchronicities that I can relate to out of my own experience: the details differ, of course, but it read like a Rubick’s cube - little elements and similar events falling into place and making sense. I see it was written in 1953 although not published until just before her death in 1994.The more I read and follow The Path the more I appreciate the ancient Wisdom teaching - and see the correlations in different cultures. I have lately been reading Theosophical texts, the initiatory path bears a resemblance. I tend to read more female spiritual teachers eg Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, Irina Tweedie, Annie Besant, Mary Magdalen and Elizabeth Haich to name but a few. Their knowledge and wisdom teaching is sorely needed to bring that all-important balance to spiritual discipleship which has been so long curated and dominated by the male POV.Anyway, Initiation is a fascinating read when the Kairos is right. Recommended.

For me, this is the best book ever. I could not stop reading it and it contains so much spiritual wisdom that it is not only entertaining but raises consciousness considerably. It was written more than 50 years ago, but could not be more "up to date" at this time. The book unveals E. Haichs lifestory and takes you back into the mysteries of Egypt where Haich lived in a long distant past life. I highly recommend this book!!

I've been on a journey for a while now trying to understand prophetic dreams and synchronicity that started about 3 years ago. This book has become a bible of amazing information. I highly recommend this book to anyone on a personal spiritual journey, with many questions, the answers are in these pages! I love this book...

This is an autobiography that also goes back into a past life in Ancient Egypt where the author was told that she was not ready for the Initiation she desired, so the Initiation was completed in her present life (1897-1994). The book was first published in 1994 in the original German, and later translated into English and published in 2000. Elizabeth Haitch, a sculptor and psychologist, analyses her thoughts, feelings, experiences, on her path to Initiation. She writes in a very individual, intelligent style. Even though she is following ancient teachings, her thoughts and style are fresh.

Very good book for all spiritual seekers. There is so much wisdom in this book, from telepathy and sacred geometry to different races... written in a very easy and engaging way. Definitely makes you gain spiritual knowledge and a deeper insight into life.

I have read a few recommended books on Spirituality and Awakening.This one has tought me a lot more than any other so far.
