Great for tapping when when no space for a tee handle.
Had tap a stripped hole underneath my motorcycle’s triple tree. Did the work without disassembling my forks. Save hours of work!

A must have for taps and other square drive items
If your tap handle can't fit in a tight space, then these tools will add flexibility to be able to drive taps etc. with your socket wrench. I should have bought a set of these decades ago.

Several Taps Fit Loosely, and 1 Tap Doesn't Fit at All
I received the 8 Socket Set (Lisle # 70500) today. I went through the SAE & Metric & Machine Screw Taps I have and found that the shanks and/or square size ends of various taps in my set fit too loosely in the sockets. These included the 3/8"NC, 3/8"NF, M5, M9, M10, M12, and the machine screw taps for #10NC, #10NF and #12NC. In addition, the M8 tap would not fit in any Lisle Socket. According to the table supplied with the sockets the M8 is supposed to fit the Socket Size #5; the table indicates the square size of this socket is .242". My M8 tap square size end measures .201", so its way too small for this socket. The table states that Socket Size #4 square end is.191", therefore, my M8 tap doesn't engage into this socket either. Although it will prove useful for the taps that fit well into the sockets, I was expecting that this was a "universal" set that worked with all the taps. Some packaging description that states that this set doesn't accommodate all tap size shanks or square ends would be very helpful.

Great tool, cant believe I didnt buy this 10 years ago.
So this is my new favorite tool!I normally use square drive sockets for taps but they are a loose fit, fall off, wont stay straight. The sockets are perfect and a great tool. They hold the taps firmly and dont fall out. They are a tight fit and dont wobble.I use with ratchet and "T" handle drive, as well as in the drill with an adapter for power tapping.I cant say anything bad about this tool.I wish there was two bigger sizes yet.

Buy two and you MIGHT get 1 that you can scrap together.
I bought the set of 8, the largest one was cracked (you can see daylight through the opening); The replacement arrived and the largest one is also cracked but not as bad, YET. One of the small ones was double stamped on the square end, so it is useless. Unfortunately I haven't found any other brands for these.
