I have tried a number of in-shower lotions. This isn't at the top of my list. First, you actually apply it after your shower. It gets applied after the shower and then you "pat" yourself dry. Additionally, the product is very thin, and doesn't leave my skin feeling moisturized. By contrast, the Olay in-shower products leave my skin feeling moisturized for hours after my shower. If you need an effective product, go with another brand.

I usually love all Maui Moisture products, including the matching Pineapple Papaya Body Wash that I purchased prior to this lotion. The body wash is creamy and moisturizing and it feels really good on the skin. I was convinced the in-shower lotion would work just as well and would complement the body wash by adding an extra boost of moisture to my skin. However, I found this lotion to be very watery, almost the same consistency as shampoo, if not more runny. The instructions say that you should apply the lotion to wet skin, but to me this makes it worse. It's very wet and slippery and does not feel good like the body wash. Most importantly, once I patted the water and lotion off my body as instructed, I did not feel any major difference in moisturization /hydration level of my skin. Overall, I think this purchase was a waste. I have tried several Maui hair and body products and I absolutely loooooveee the results, as well as the the smell and ingredients used in each product, but this one was a miss. I do not recommend and may even return this product.

love the smell of it and as this is for combination skin I love that it did not dry out my skin nor did it leave it feeling greasy

Does every thing it says and it is less on Amazon in a bundle than full price (unless there's a coupon). It smells great and I purchased one for sensitive skin for my son who has a son condition.

Great soap but it’s very very sweet and very strong pineapple. My daughter loves it though and when I have used it this soap get you clean and does not leave a residue

Excellent value for the money. The container is way bigger than I was expecting.I haven't noticed an improvement or decrease in how moisturized I feel after switching to this.I got the pineapple papaya scent, and found it to be a bitter scent. Heavy on the papaya. It wasn't fruity enough for me personally, but I like very sweet and fruity smells. I was so surprised that the smell was way more papaya than pineapple, that that's why I gave only 4 stars. To fix it to my liking, I mixed in the last of a sweet toasted coconut body wash that I had, and that did the trick.

I love Maui Moisture shampoo, so I figured i'd give this a try. The smell is strong but fades quickly after applying. It goes on smooth--obviously mixing with the water on your skin as you apply it. My main issue is it is very runny. I typically apply another moisturizer over it when I get out of the shower because I'm not sure how long lasting the moisturizing effects will last with it being such a runny formula. With moisturizers, I attribute "runny" to not long lasting. It's good enough and smells lovely. Also, I do not have oily skin but this was the only scent I wanted--so this could why its runny. If you have oily skin and are not looking for a thick moisturizer this is probably perfect for you.

A great inexpensive body wash. The quality reminds me of more expensive brands like Bath and Body Wirks or Victoria's Secret but the price is more reasonable. I found the formula left me feeling clean but not dried out. Fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering or fake smelling/chemical smelling. I would repurchase this and recommend it to anyone. The large size will definitely last me months.
