The knives were beautiful when i got them, and they held an edge well. However, if you don't wash, dry, and OIL these knives as soon as you're done using them they're going to rust (i literally mean AS SOON AS YOU'RE DONE), and don't even think about putting them in the dishwasher. That's game-over.In my opinion, there are many other options for quality kitchen knives, in that price range, that don't require nearly as much maintenance.If you're okay with the upkeep these will be great knives for you, and if you do slip up and they get some rust on them Bar Keeper's Friend and/or steel wool will clean it up for you.

Terrible product. Rusted within the first use even though it was treated properly. I am a chef and bought these for my fiancé who is in Culinary School now. Beyond disappointed when these showed up wrapped in a drastic amount of tape and paper, impossible to unwrap... only to have them rust and feel unpleasant in your hand as well. Keep looking...this is isn’t the set for you.

Was very pleased with this knife set. If you keep this knife set treated with oil they will last a life time. They are very sharp. Look like I paid a lot more then I did.

Absolutely beautiful Product

So I read some rough reviews on these style knives but at such a great price I thought well why not. Absolutely no disappointments. I washed and oiled them right when I received them. And it has been several months since purchase and they are still in great shape!!! Very sharp and well built
