Thimbleberries Big Book of Quilt Blocks Hardcover – September 1, 2005

This is the 2nd Thimbleberries Quilt Book that i have purchased. I purchased it for my Mother and now i am going to have to order one for myself!!Beautiful quilts and great and easy-to-understand directions on how to put together each block for whatever quilt in the book you are making. The price of this book is fantastic - i saved my Mother about $12 by buying it from Amazon.com

I have always loved the thimberries quilt books . I was looking for something to inspire me to use left over , It's hard to buy yards and yards of fabric some times. but the quilts in this book stay to the thimblerries cutting and sewing style. This book has several project ideals and patterns complete. The projects are safe haven ,12 blocks required. Month by month 12 blocks. Thimbleberry's village 12 blocks , pansy park 12 blocks and a quilters garden 12 blocks. Depending on pattern chosen and blocks and fabric selected. One could make seasonal quilts easily. All blocks seem to be deferent depending on the project chosen. The blocks and fabric choices are lovely. From summer sunflowers to fall pumpkins to Christmas trees and spring pansy's and tulips. . quilters garden is shown on the cover. other quilts in the book are done warm browns ,golds and deep reds to rust.judy

Excellent book have found numerous blocks that I have made for quilts. Like the clear instructions with helping pictures.

This could be used for a block of the month quilt. Such precision! Beautiful fabrics, also.Could be done in different color ways.

good book but it didn't have what I was looking for. I will add it to my collection and a friend will come that really likes it and I will give it to her!

I still have not recived the book,that I order on 4/25/11. I have wrote 3 emails about it and still have not recived one answer back. The person I order it from was Connie SCHERTZER. I HAVE ASKED HER TO please CHECK UP AND SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. but NO ANSWER. Have paid for it also.So last week reorder it again... But from a different person this time. may be this time I will get it.I hope. I still want the one from Connie Schertzer also as it also been paid for and I have daughter waiting on it. I have order other books from Amazon with no problems. I just hope this is a one time thing. It is a great book and does rate 5 stars. But as of now not the seller.

This is a beautiful book with lots of lovely quilt patterns and photos with clear instructions.My book arrived quickly and was in perfect condition.

I like this book as it has clear instructions and pictures,was pleased with this as I bought it second hand, it is in good condition,slightly scuffed a little.to be expected.
