The instant #1 New York Times bestseller! "No one does funny, emotional, life-affirming love stories quite like Abby Jimenez. She just keeps outdoing herself." โEmily Henry There's no such thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes--all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediate yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there's nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong ... unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake. But after one incredible and seemingly endless date, Samantha is forced to admit the truth, that her family is in crisis and any kind of relationship would be impossible. Samantha begs Xavier to forget her. To remember their night together as a perfect moment, as crushing as that may be. Only no amount of distance or time is enough to forget what's between them. And the only thing better than one single perfect memory is to make a life--and even a love--worth remembering. Review: A great read! - This is the first book in the series, and after reading many of the authorโs books, I was quite sure I was going to enjoy this one too and it definitely did not disappoint. Itโs the kind of story that breaks your heart and then puts it back together again which is why itโs now one of my comfort reads. The book is so beautifully written and the way the story is shaped by timing, distance and responsibilities made it feel so relatable. Itโs not just about falling in love, but also about what happens after, when life doesnโt go the way you want it to. The banter and chemistry gave me all the feels I wanted. The emotional moments also hit so deeply throughout, with certain moments making me teary eyed, as they felt so raw and real. I loved the way the author balances heavier and sensitive topics with warmth and lighthearted but meaningful moments. What stood out the most to me was the way the characters were written. They werenโt perfect, and their choices werenโt always easy, which made me feel everything so deeply. The connection between the MCs was also so cute and heartwarming, and I could truly feel the longing and the weight of their choices and their situation. The way everything was wrapped up in the end made my heart feel so full. So, if you enjoy emotional and character driven romances then this one is definitely for you. Review: one you might remember - I didnโt pick up this book expecting it to reach there โ into the quieter, unspoken parts of love and responsibility. But my first Abby Jimenez had a way of weaving warmth into the hardest conversations, and this one felt like standing in the middle of grief, guilt, and grace โ all at once. Samantha is accustomed to shouldering all of her burdens. When she meets Xavier โ a quick, gentle vet with baggage of his own โ it is fireworks but also its something more muted, safer. And perhaps that is what made it feel real. A single meeting. A single connection. And then life beckons her back โ to a mother fading into early-onset dementia, to a home that no longer feels like her own. What comes next isn't a grand romance. It's a patient, obstinate devotion. Long-distance love, unclear futures, the burnout of caregiving, of a history of no validity from family โ all done with gentleness, and without gloss. Xavier is not a hero. He's a man who insists on choosing her, over and over again, even when it is inconvenient. Even when it hurts. And Samantha's story isn't one of being saved. It's one of learning to soften when life has cut you sharp. Love doesn't always come to save youโ sometimes it simply quietly decides to remain. Although you can predict the ending and the pacing does hang a little too long in longing - but that's love sometimes, isn't it? Slow. Messy. Repetitive. Worth it. This was not about the romance only - it was the reminder that love and grief tend to share a room. And that the strongest type of love isn't boisterous. It's steady. It remembers, even when all else begins to slip away.

Oh I always thought no book will top Yours Truly for me.. but this one?? this one did!! Its a beautiful story which has genuine feelings, family that is struggling to stick together but still does.. Friends and colleagues that keeps you in check. Genuine adulting problems and how two people who are mature go through with a long distance relationship without causing any conflict!!

Loved it!
abby jimenez crushed my heart with this one (o xavier the saviour... where have you been all my life? this book was a whole rollercoaster it's funny, messy, emotional and so much drama in the best way. insta love isn't usually my thing but i'll let it slide for this because they just made sense i spent so much of the book heartsick for them......the dementia aspect was absolutely heartbreaking and the long distance part? do i've been there, i know how it feels and abby made it so real. the missing, the wanting, the wait it didn't feel forced at all. i loved every bit of it. abby knows how to mix the heavy stuff with the laughs and that's what makes her books feel so real. it's not just a quick rom-com, but if you're already an abby fan, you'll wanna read this one too๐ซถ๐ป

Hilarious and horrifying
Another gem from the author. She can never disappoint me!! The story is about two people going on a date, they think that they are compatible and even feel that they have found the right partner but but but, she is moving to another state miles away from him the very next day!! How are they going to find someone else when they have this profound connection!! ๐ I did not read the synopsis while picking up the book and it was shocking for me to know that she is moving upstate just after their date. Their bonding was something that is so well described in the book. ๐ Very tough topics are addressed in the book - abusive parents, dementia, family problems, proving self worth at the cost of love and along with everything unemployment. ๐ I liked the male character as he was so dedicated to his work, yet wanted to take out time for her and work harder to do everything that he could to move with her. That option looked unviable for them. ๐ Her character was very much focused on her family, she was all into making ends meet so that she can take care of her mother even though she was really good at her job. ๐ Plot moved swiftly and there was a point where you felt that what will happen next or rather will it be possible for them to meet!! Trust Abby to keep you hooked to the story and giving you an amazing plot twist at the end. I loved the story, it would have been a bit shorter but otherwise a beautiful read.

I Adore Abby Books
Abby Jimenez just never disappoints ... like literally. I have read every single book she has written and have loved EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. I adore her. Read her books Guys. All of them! Just do it. You wont be disappointed. This latest one Say You'll Remember Me just stole my heart. Xavier and Sam's story is so gorgeous - I just couldn't put this book down and was hooked from the very first page. This is a gem of a book and I absolutely loved everything about it. If you are a romance reader you will defo want to read this one guys. Abby always writes so well and she has this perfect ability to masterfully blend romance with much deeper themes and family dynamics. 'Say You'll Remember Me' is a gorgeous romance read but as with her other books, this one is not just your typical 'chick lit' read guys. It is so much more than that. It is so relatable to real life & real world themes ~ this one contains detailed descriptions of someone with advanced dementia, mention of child emotional abuse, animal abuse and the death of a side character so check trigger warnings before reading if any of the above may be triggering for you guys. The book sensitively explores these complex themes. It is so beautifully written and seamlessly combines romance with real life struggles. We read about the impact of illness, familial responsibility and long distance relationships - all of which are very real and raw topics and Abby writes about them so well - they meld into the central romance storyline perfectly. My own mam has Lewy body Dementia (she is 66 years of age), so this one was very close to home for me. I related to Samantha and her difficult family situation so much. The characterisation is perfection. The characters are just so relatable, so real, so raw and just so well developed. I legit fall in love with every male main character Abby writes LOL ๐ (I still think about Daniel from 'Part of Your World' โค๏ธ) IYKYK! ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ This is a perfect, heartwarming, emotionally satisfying book and so very deserving of the number 2 spot for my Top5 books of the year 2025 - (just coming in under 'The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell' which has stolen the top spot) Abby can for sure, make ya feel ALL the feels while reading ANY of her books ... and this one was no different. I laughed and cried many times throughout reading this one โค๏ธ I had been counting down the weeks for 'Say You'll Remember Me' to be released and was delighted to be gifted an advanced copy (Thank You Abby) in exchange for my honest review. It exceeded every expectation. It's the perfect Summer read so add it to the list guys! I adored the Story, The Characters ... Basically everything to do with this book. It made me laugh, made me cry but completely warmed my heart at the same time. I cannot recommend it more. I'll leave it at very deserving stars from me! A must read!!!! โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

CANNOT PUT THIS ONE DOWN
I absolutely loved this book. It had the perfect mix of romance, humor, and emotion without feeling overly cheesy. The characters felt real, and I became invested in their relationship very quickly. What I especially loved was that there was more to the story than just the romance. It had emotional depth while still being an easy, enjoyable read. I kept telling myself I would read one more chapter and then ended up staying up way too late! If you enjoy contemporary romance with great chemistry, humor, and some emotional moments mixed in, this is definitely worth reading.
