Great replacement cord for WD easy store HD at a low price
I have a Western Digital EasyStore 4TB HD, and didn't like the inconvenience of having to find a USB A to USB C adapter to use the hard drive each time. I wasn't sure if they made a USB C replacement, so after a quick search, I found a bunch of cables, some quite pricey. Being a world-class cheap ass, I found this and read the reviews, and at about $6, I decided to roll the dice. This cord has a braided exterior, the plugs look to be good quality, and despite reading a couple reviews about the plug being very tight/very hard to plug in, mine fit just fine - snug, but with no forcing or extra effort required (at least for what I was using - the WD EasyStore HD and my MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.)This cord is a great value, I'd buy this before I'd spend 2-3X as much on another cord. This works fine, fits fine, and there is no drop in speed from the HD.

Fast Data Transfer
Grabbed this cable for a 2.5" hard drive I have that came with a USB-A to Micro 3.0 cable. I'd been using an adaptor to connect it to my MacBook Pro but this cable allows me to do so without the need for the additional adaptor. The construction seems sturdy and well-made. It's just 1ft long, so it doesn't take up a lot of space if you travel with the drive, though it does mean keeping it close-by when in-use.Data transfer is fast and simple, with the cable allowing the laptop to supply power to the drive.Overall it's the perfect solution to the problem I was looking to solve and a great little cable for connecting all the things.

Great product all the way around
Using on a 4TB WD external HD. Fits into the WD perfectly. I have not noticed any speed difference using this vs the usb at all mostly because the HD can only send info so fast and my laptop can only read info so fast (HP OMEN 15t) and I have about 2TB worth of files on my HD. So after plugging it in it takes about 7 seconds before it opens up the files and another maybe 8 seconds for it to read each single file. Which is about what it was before. I bought the 3' one for some reason, don't do that. It's great but you're more than likely not going to need the length.UPDATE 6/11/18: After using this for a bit of time I have noticed one thing. The USB C connector is not exactly the right size. If you even bump the table, or touch the cord in any way at all no matter how minor or soft, it disconnects the HD. Doing that over and over can damage the HD and lead to loss of date so as of this moment I am not using this product again. I cannot take the chance of losing all my data. It might be that the cord is too long or idk. Maybe I should have bought the 1' one. Either way this is going in the garbage if the seller won't exchange it for a different one. (Using on HP Omen 15t)Update 6/12/18: Seller got back to me very fast and is exchanging it for the smaller 1' cord. I have to admit that this is great customer service and would have no issue ordering from them again. My hats off to their customer serviceUpdate 6/22/18: Other 1' cord arrived today. I plugged it in and decided to bump the table, nudge the laptop slightly, wiggle the middle of the cord and it never disconnected. This is a good product just the 3' cord is just too long unless you are using the entire stretch of cord. Ty to the seller for replacing the first one. Very good customer service

Little bit stiff, a little bit short
These cords are a little bit stiff and a little bit short but if you are looking for a short cord that is tough and doesn't seem like it is going to get damaged easily, this is the one. It's worked great with my seagate hard drives. It's nice to have this so I don't have to use an adaptor to connect to my macbook since my hard drive originally came with a normal USB cord. Have used this with several hard drives and have been using it for quite awhile. About a year with no problems.

USB C to Micro B Cable. Does the job.
I bought 2 of these cables so I could use some old hard drives with my new Mac purchase. They connect well, and I am able to transfer data easily. I cannot be specific with speeds, but I am happy.
