Best dive light I've ever seen.
This light has been great for diving. I purchased it way back when I was getting my PADI open water certification, and couldn't be happier with it. Going down to 60+ feet, the sun's rays are blocked out. You need a light like this to truly appreciate the colors down at the bottom of the ocean. The multi-layer of o-rings and shock resistant housing kept water out and the light stayed operational for many repeated dives. This thing is bright! I haven't used the AAA battery option, but keep fresh batteries in my dive gear in case it ever runs out of power, but so far, a charge hasn't failed me even on night dives. As always, keep a spare, but I fully trust this light, and would rank it with the best.

I also do not like how you have to twist the bottom to turn ...
I bought this thinking it might be bright enough to use as my primary however I've come to the conclusion that a primary light must be a minimum of 1,000 lumens. I don't feel 600 lumens is enough when the conditions deteriorate. I also do not like how you have to twist the bottom to turn the light on and off. I would prefer a button or some kind of easier switch because I like to strap this light to my hand. It makes it very awkward to try and turn the light on by twisting the bottom when you're in the water.

good dive light for a good price
I read a number of reviews that indicated the flashlight was waterproof but they weren't scuba divers. I am and have taken the light to 85ft. It works great and is very bright. You can not beat it for the price. The Li ion battery has lasted through two one tank dives and recharging while not fast has worked well. I only gave this 4 stars because literally there were no even badly written instructions, I ended up having to ask if a flashing light on the charger was normal or indicating a problem. Also, I, like many US males, am colorblind so I can't tell if its red or green so switching from red to green when complete is not especially helpful.

Compact, cheap backup light.
I use this as a backup light and just leave it clipped to my BC. Since it's a backup, I rarely turn it on, but haven't had any issues with reliability in the 6 months and 30 or so dives that I've had it for. I think it's kind of silly that it comes with the smaller 18650 battery and adapter. I quickly replaced it with the larger 26650 battery that fits as well. I can't comment directly on if it's really 1200 lumens, but it's relatively bright, and more than adequate as a backup.

Very disappointing
Bought this ahead of a trip to Roatan. 1st problem was the lion battery - dead and would not take a charge. Didn't have time to work through the return, so bought another one on Prime and figured I'd send the 1st one back for credit. New one worked, so off to dive paradise. Flashlight worked great on the 1st day to 60ft, great for looking under overhangs. started dimming 2nd day, so recharged it overnight. Still worked poorly, so I opened it and it had leaked and corroded badly. I scraped the corrosion off the best I could, but it never worked well the rest of my vacation. After I got home, I can't even open it. Very disappointing, would not recommend this light for scuba.

Not a good dive light
The construction of the product is sound and the carrying case is a nice benefit. However, the biggest problem I have with this light is the brightness. It is nowhere near as bright as the description makes it out to be. This would be fine for casual snorkeling around dawn or dusk, but it is useless as a dive light. I used it on two dives. I suppose as an emergency backup it would be alright, but don't plan to use it for your primary or for helping with photo or video. I guess you get what you pay for with dive lights... Unfortunately I was well outside of the return period by the time I went on my first dive trip with this light.

Design Flaw Allows Corrosion
The light was bright underwater and it seemed like a good unit for the price. Except, there is a design flaw with these lights. You need to twist the base to turn them on. However, you also twist the same base when removing the batteries. I dove one time with it one time. I must have twisted the base a bit too much when turning on the light underwater because salt water leaked in. I didn't realize this at the time. When I got home 5 days after my dive, I removed the batteries to charge them and noticed there was corrosion inside it and the light no longer works.

This light is very bright and works great. I actually use this attached to a life vest that is exposed to the elements quite a bit. I have had it in the water and rain and has worked every time. Have not taken it diving yet but will try it out the next time I go. Comes with a nice hard case with the charger and re-chargeable battery which gives you great protection if you throw it in your scuba gear box. Great value for the money.
