Looks can be deceiving...
These chairs were a perfect match to the set I received when I purchased the coordinating dining room table. However, it also means the chairs are the same quality. They look nice and we receive a lot of compliments. However, in putting them together, you have to be very careful as there are a lot of splinters on the underside. It is not finished/varnished. Also, just like the other set, the screws loosen in a short period of time. I've already had to tighten these chairs within a couple months. This mimics the original set. Overall, nice chairs.

Uneven wood tone
The wood around the backrest looks lighter than the legs. Thought it would be darker. Putting it together was a challenge since they kept wobbling. Had to be tweaked until stable. Otherwise seems sturdy and comfortable .

NOT the color as pictured
The chairs were beautiful and nice quality. I wish I could of kept them. They were at best a medium oak color. such a bummer.

The chairs are uneven and lots of marks and split chips on legs. NOT comfortable to sit on.
