Worked great for restroom fan extractor
Used this in a bathroom facing the north which in winter gets hammered by the winds... works well closes when not in use.... winter will be the telling time.. it was a bit expensive but if it keep the WC frost free its worth it.

Best backdraft Damper 3"
I took the cheap backdraft damper out of my standard 3" bathroom fan and installed this one. I was going to buy the spring loaded butter backdraft damper but over time the springs break. This backdraft damper was designed very different in which the butterfly flapper sets in at an angle using gravity to fall back and close on a rubber seal. Now I can't ever even feel the smallest amount of cold air from outside and no insects coming in.
