We gave this to our son as one of his graduation gifts. He loved it. The quality is beautiful. The leather is so soft. The pen is a nice quality to write with as well. Even the box it comes in is a good quality. If your considering this for yourself or as a gift, I recommend it. It’s perfect.Just a note, double check the paper color if that matters to you. I ordered a book that came with tan paper with was a surprise to me. I didn’t realize I had done that. I didn’t mind it but some people might. I’m not sure if that’s an option that can be changed on their various styles. Either way, they are worth every penny.

I have used many journals throughout college, but this one tops them all. Being someone who writes down ideas and thoughts, I fill up a typical journal or notebook quickly and I like how this one has many pages and the binding method breaks the signatures into different sections for you (its almost like having built in dividers!) The ivory paper gives it a vintage look and makes no sacrifices on quality either. The pen that came with the kit is superb, usually I am skeptical and use my own pens with a journal but I fell in love with the pen because of the flow and how well it pairs with the journal's overall look and feel. The leather cover is amazing, very well designed and gives a very sophisticated impression when you look at it. Very happy with this journal, and have used it every day since it arrived! Highly recommend the company and their product!

This journal is exceptional inside and out! It came in a very nice above average box, so I knew right away it was more than I expected. Beautiful, soft leather exterior that feels richly pliable and looks like highest quality. The pages are lined perfectly for hand-writing and could be my heirloom travel records when I leave it to family after my demise. Purchased for a high school grad heading off to college. Has not yet been gifted but I’m excited to do so. Very impressive presentation box. High quality cover, love the strap closure and outer details. Pen is a handsome addition that appears to be sturdy. Lined pages have a vintage look wIth space for a date at the top. Hopefully he’ll use it now as he begins this new journey; in 20 years it will be such a treasure!!

What a great journal! Had a strong initial smell when out of plastic, but do not let discourage from purchase. Bought for my teen son going abroad on exchange. He loved it! This was in a nice box to gift, and is the perfect size for a teen traveling. It has the look of a vintage journal and feels sturdy enough to endure a teen traveling.

Overall this is a great product. The pages are nice and thick, they have that bronze kind of tint to them, the leather for the book feels sturdy and nice. I enjoy the fact that every page has a date space on the top right as well.Now negatively, the pen is garbage. I wrote two sentences and the thing just flat out stopped working. I scribbled on a blank piece of printer paper, licked the tip, and shook it back and forth a bit and it was to no avail. I’m not too worried about that bc as excited as I was to have a non Pilot pen slotted in the front, it just wasn’t meant to be. So basically just ignore the pen in this purchase.ALSO, refillable is not really a thing. If you look at the questions the company has even said they haven’t really jumped into the “refillable” aspect of the journal. From what I recall, one of the answers to how to refill it was “pull out the strings” that bind the leaflets. After looking at that, it’s very viable, but I would ruin the book and I know it. I’m considering it a yearly expense of buying a new journal if I stick with this product once I’m done with this one.So yea, for the sake of having a beautiful canvas to write on, go for it! For the convenience of a nice pen and a refillable journal...nope not quite.

This journal is absolutely beautiful and of extreme high quality. The paper on the inside is bleed proof and has the most amazing textured feel to it. I cant get over how incredible this journal is. I'm in love with it. Absolutely fantastic customer service as well. Other sellers should strive to be more like the customer service this company has provided. They deserve two big thumbs way way way up. Great job.

This is great quality and there are 5 sections with 2 string place holders. The pages are thick barely bleed through is at all. The pen that came with is really nice and fine doesn’t bleed. Could use both sides of the paper but I don’t personally. Pics coming soon

The journal I received was not the one pictured. Not a single page was lined as described above and along with that I did not receive the gift box or pen. The missing items and lack of lines really ruined the item and doesn’t make it worth the price.

This journal arrived in a plastic bag , and not in the promised box , the pen was missing and the journal was mouldy . Very disappointed
