Great value to buy the 2oz size
No one talks about how expensive pool maintenance is, but buying testing chemicals can be one of those "uncharted" expenses. However, Taylor kits are by far the best and most accurate way to measure pool chemistry, and little bottles (3/4 ounce) can be refilled with these 2 ounce bottles for a considerable savingsโassuming you go through it fast enough or can store it without the chemicals degrading. Especially valuable if you maintain multiple pools or have multiple test kits that need to be refreshed.

Genuine Taylor Technologies R-0004-C solution/reagent
I bought the Taylor R-0004-C solution from Amato Industries Inc. I am a skeptical person so I originally had three concerns when I placed this order with a third party other than from Amazon LLC. 1. Is the product legit? Meaning if they use genuine Taylor Technologies R-0004 bottled reagent or just some generic solution. 2. Is the shelf life of the reagent at least a year? I donโt want to get something that has a short expiration date. 3. Can the third party ship fast? I ordered directly from Taylor Technologies before and even though they are very friendly and willing to help, they do not ship out products fast. It took Taylor at least a week to ship out my product (not receive, but just to ship it out). I just received and test the R-0004-C yesterday (itโs 2oz by the way, for those who wonder). Here is what I found out: 1. Itโs real Taylor Tech. product. I even tested it and compared it with my existing R-0004 reagent received from Taylor Technologiesโ original test kit box. The results are identical. 2. The reagent expires in 4/2018, so thatโs longer than 1 year. 3. Amato shipped out the product fast so it did not take me long before I receive the solution. Other notes โ Try not to order this during summer time. I ran out of chemicals so I have to, otherwise I would avoid summer shipping. The chemical arrived โhotโ and it has some smells that could be hazardous. I live in AZ so 100+ degrees is not ideal for this chemical especially when it sits in the mail box for several hours.

Leaked
Was correct but luckily was inside a sealed package when placed in shipping packaging and leaked. Will keep since there was minimal leakage.

Better price than at the Hot Tub stores
Itโs the larger bottle (not the small one that fits in the blue kit) and itโs perfect. It lasts a long time with weekly testing. Way better price than at the hot tub stores and it delivered super quick. Will buy again.

Ordered a 2 oz bottle but received a 0.75 oz bottle - is it a scam or a mistake?
I am the 4th reviewer to have recently received a 0.75 oz bottle even though the product description clearly states that the product offered is a 2 oz bottle including a photo of a clearly identified 2 oz bottle. I have returned the product to Amazon for a refund. I would like to write it off as a mistake, but the fact that at least 3 others have received the small bottles makes me suspect that it is more than a mistake.

Almost Expired
Three week delivery and best before date is 03/22 while other reagents I have ordered had more that a year on their dates?
