Excellent product
Practice with Morse code. With my transmitter

Works great, and can key tube transmitters if their keying is grid-block keying
This allows me to use an iambic key with my Heathkit HW-16. And the transmitter has grid-block keying, which this keyer is capable of doing. The key jack on the radio has 90VDC on it; you either use a straight key with it, or get a keyer like this one. This keyer had cosmetic defects: the paint job on it was not great. But i decided to keep it rather than wait for weeks for a replacement.

No printed operators manual included
1) No manual shipped with product;2) key input jack uses a 1/4” plug not the smaller stereo type common today; and3) no power supply other than a plug with two wires.

Good for what it is... and for practicing morse code, with adjustable speeds and tones and weights.
Good for what it is... and for practicing morse code, with adjustable speeds and tones and weights. Most new ham rigs have a built in keyers, but my old transceiver does not. Apparently I can also use this keyer with my non-keyer rig to add keying capability making my iambic paddles work. This box contains the necessary circuitry to do that.
