Thread Size:M3-0.5  |  Item Width String:0 Inches  |  Item Height String:0 Inches  |  Number of Items:100 Most often used on machine screws and threaded rod, these general purpose nuts are for low-strength assemblies. Hex Nuts have flat tops with chamfered corners; bottoms may be flat or chamfered. Hex drive systems are driven with a wrench.Steels are designated by a 4 number SAE Steel grade. The first two digits indicate the primary materials used to form the steel. The last 2 digits identify the percentage of carbon for the alloy (in hundredths). The steel used in these fasteners has a tensile strength ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 psi (pounds per square inch).A threaded fastener's size name includes information about the major external diameter (in millimeters), followed by the thread pitch (millimeters per thread), which indicates if it is coarse or fine. Coarse threads are better when working with brittle materials; they are sturdier and are easier to thread and unthread compared to fine. Coarse threading also allows for thicker coatings and platings.

Good M3 nuts
Used these M3 nuts to assemble mini-Kossel RepRap 3D printer. Fit OpenBeam extrusions well.

Correct size, sturdy steel
The ones I have used work as they should, no problems with the threads not working. They are the right size and shape. From what I can feel they are high quality metal that you do not have to worry about breaking.

High quality.
Expect high quality nuts that can be used to bolt together electronic PCBoards and other hardware. They work great with brass standoff spacers.
