Have been using a few months and have had no breakouts. I apply about once a day, and more often when I feel like my lips are dry or exposed to too much Sun or wind. Dries quickly and no lingering bad taste.

I tried this because I'm the kind of person that likes to try new things. I'm always on the lookout for great under rated products. I don't get cold sores often but I had a flare up back to back, this help it not look so bad and go away fast! I was using the Abreva but my cold sore healed faster and was less noticible using Peaceful Mountain. I know Abreva is for the first sign but it seems useless to me, Peaceful Mountain is half the price and works better to me. I'm telling everyone about it, great product! Try it!!!!!!!

Good stuff here. I didnt have a cold sore form but i did wake up with small pimple/rash on my chin. My move was to put hydrocortisone on it thinkin its an allergic reaction to supplements i take but then i noticed the rash move to my upper lip so then thats when i knew to start using my defense kit. Cold sore rescue really does work wonders. I put on cold sore rescue for a day & by the end of the day i started noticing improvement. This stuff works fast i have some on right now on both lips that way the top lip doesnt infect the bottom. Other than that it all just takes time. I also take super lysine pills/wellness formula/hyland cold sore tabs/colloidal silver dropper top & I eat quite healthy

Amazing product

This stuff is so much better than what you get in the stores ie. Abreva (which never made a difference) If you get an immediate jump on applying this to a cold sore, it really makes a difference. Instead of suffering for several weeks, it knocks it out within a week. Definitely keeps them to a low roar. I've bought several and have shared them with a few of my friends that also get cold sores and they've all been amazed how great it works.
