Very bright light - but only for a short while
Nice, bright light. However full LED brightness only lasts 60-90 minutes with standard alkaline batteries. I’m already looking for a better light.

Significantly better then expected.
Purchased this headlight to make me more visable when riding my Inboard M1 home from work at night. Love that the front and back lamps have a strobe feature. The front lamp is bright enough to like up the road 2m ahead of my board which is much more then I had expected at this price point. I’m using the light strapped to a helmet so I’m not sure how comfortable it might be for prolonged use without, but it feels pretty compatible to other headlamps that I have used sold at a higher price point. The addition of a SOS whistle on the headlamp might be unessisary but is still a nice touch.The only think I would change would be a slightly higher output rear red lamp so that it could be utilized as a map light without effecting your night vision.

I was worried this would be too heavy to comfortably wear while running, but I have done up to 10 mile runs with it on without issue.
