BGSD Men's David Waterproof Hooded Down Coat (Regular & Big and Tall)

This is nice, well made coat. My original RFT down coats were getting old and looking shabby. This coat is warm, and a good fit. It looks good. My issues with this coat are:1. The zipper is a little difficult to get on, and moving. If the zipper is not straight, it is difficult to pull up.2. I am short, so when I sit in the car, the bottom of the coat tends to bind and so I have to pull it up a bit, to sit down. The RFT coat zipper could be unzipped from the bottom, so when sitting down, or reaching for something in my pant pocket, I could unzip it from the bottom.3. With this coat, I have to either pull the whole coat up, or unzip the whole coat to get to my front pant pockets.Overall I am happy with the coat, but if I could unzip it from the bottom as well, it would have been perfect.

I'm always skeptical about buying coats on line but I'm not mad about this purchase. This is one awesome coat, it's so warm, on a very cold snowy night I was walking home in this coat and literally started sweating. The arms are a little snug but that's because it keeps your body head in. It's not uncomfortable but you definitely won't be layering up to much with this coat but you won't really have to. Long sleeves and a good hat and you're ready for the cold in this coat.

When you feel the coat you instantly realize the coat is thick and warm. The sizes fit exactly as expected. Those who feel it does not fit as expected either do not know there measurements or did not read the size chart correctly. The pockets in the coat provide plenty of space for anything you need to hold. All the pockets also provide a zipper or button seal so nothing will fall out. The coat is not too bulky, however, it's not slimming. If you purchase the right size then it looks exactly like the picture. Overall, the coat looks nice and is of good quality I would highly recommend it to a friend or family member.

coat is warm and as advertised. Ft pockets a bit smaller then they look in pic. main problem is the zipper seems to get stuck. Supposed to be YZK zipper which is printed on zipper, but seems like a cheap one!! So far its ok but have to fight with it to get it to zip. Hope its lasts.

Took comments of previous reviewers to heart and purchased an XL instead of an L. It fits perfectly; so it definitely runs small. The coat is incredibly comfortable, well made, and WARM! I've stood out in negative temps with my kids at the bus stop in nothing but a t-shirt and this coat and have been toasty! I suggest not putting the coat on until you know you're about to step outside; otherwise, you may easily overheat. Wish the pockets were side entry instead of top, but that's not really a big deal. Even so, the pockets are VERY warm. This is a great coat. I would buy it again.

In search of a waterproof type down, I bought a size M from Japan.It was a bit big and heavy, but it was very warm and the point was as expected.

I am a XL in everything, This fits a tiny bit snug. It is fine for me, But if you EVER plan on wearing a sweater, or an extra layer you are going to need to get an XXL in this if you are a solid XL. But other than that this is a VERY nice, Warm coat. I'm happy with my purchase.

The coat is very bulky but very warm. I bought it for my husband as he feels the cold more now. He usually wears a medium but I bought a large. Small through the shoulders (and he is built thin) but long enough to just cover the rear.
