Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Unlined Denim Jacket

5’ 10”, 160 lb, 46” chest, 38” waist. I bought a size L jacket in antique indigo. I thought it might be too tight, but it fit perfectly, with enough room to wear a layer underneath. The sleeves were a good length, with maybe ½” extra for shrinkage in the wash. It was difficult at first to button the jacket. I cleaned up the button holes carefully with a small pair of scissors and now it’s much easier. I had tried the Levi’s Men’s Trucker Jacket, also in a L. It felt a bit snug in the chest and tight under the shoulder. Not much room for layering. I decided to keep the Wrangler jacket. The fit is looser. I like the the square chest pockets (which will actually hold something) and straight vertical seams over the Levi’s small, tapered pockets and diagonal seams.

This Wrangler jacket exceeded our expectations. The first thing you notice is the weight. It really is made with heavy duty 100% cotton denim. The stitching is well done. It's a handsome demim jacket. Although it's made in Bangladesh, it's good quality and expected to last a reasonable time. After trying an item on to make sure it fits properly and there are no defects, I always wash clothes before wearing them. Instructions are wash in cold water/dry on low setting/iron if needed. Be sure to wash this alone the first time unless you have a pair of faded blue jeans you want to add a little more color to. Just like their blue denim jeans, the blue dye does run during the first two washings so the wash water will be VERY blue the first time around. I took the jacket out of the dryer immediately so there were no wrinkles and no need to iron. Looked great. The sleeve length did shrink about half an inch which we were expecting. I suspect there might be another half inch shrinkage over time. There are two front breast pockets which are wide enough to get your hand in. Compared to a Levi denim jacket hubby has, these two pockets are just a little larger. He says these pockets are nicer for a man's hand....not too big but not so small you can't use them. There are also two outside side pockets (my husband calls them handwarmers) and two inside side pockets. The inside side pockets are a good size and deep so I think you could fit most anything in them that a guy would carry around in his jacket. My husband likes the fact that you can fit a business size envelope in them without worry that they'll fall out.

Everything from the stitching to the fabric it is very well made

The jacket is nice, thick and durable. I have had the exact jacket for years. It was time for new. The only grip is the sleeves, way to long. Cuff folding to make it work. It's a well made jacket, just would like to know who has ORANGATANG arms LOL. 😆

The fit of the jean jacket was as described. I did order a large. I am 5'11'' The sleeves were Not long they were the proper length and came to my wrist as they should have. The color was a little darker than the picture but still a nice washed-out blue. Looking forward to years of wearing this jacket. The jacket is high quality with excellent stitching. I am a consumer and was not compensated for this review.

I helped my mom buy this for my husband's birthday. I was very happy when it arrived to see how well made it is. The fabric is heavy 100% cotton denim, the color is beautiful (it's deeper blue than the picture) and it is sewn well. It should last a long time. We had ordered a large (he is 5'8" and slim) which fit him perfectly in the body but the sleeves were a little short. My husband has wanted a jean jacket for a while but hadn't found one he liked. He absolutely loves the quality and color of this jacket. I returned the large and ordered the large tall, which arrived quickly. The large tall is a better fit for him and is the same high quality and color as the large was. The sleeves are a perfect length for him. The body is a little long on him (to be expected since he isn't really a "tall") but he's not complaining. He's happy that it will keep the top of his butt warm. I've looked around for women's jean jackets and can't find any as nice as this one. I may have to order one for myself!

Extraordinary is the only word that does Wrangler justice. For the record I did NOT recieve any discount or incentive to give this review, I paid full price for 2 jackets! Recently after sorting thru some stored clothing items I rescued a 12-15 year old Wrangler jacket. I always loved the rugged good looks and with nostalgic feelings peaked I decided to order one faded and one black jacket. I prayed that they would be as good a quality and feel as the old one. Whatever I reorder from a LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, etc. is Never the same, it always seems to get thinner, cheaper material, lose a pocket, etc! I was Stunned when I opened the packages. Both jackets were perfect and exactly as I had hoped they would be. Great color, Quality stitching, and stiff ( in a Good way - you can wear/break it in ). In 2016, where virtually Nothing is the quality it once was ( if you're over 20, especially times three ) then you know what real Quality was. Wrangler Gets It! These Jackets are Fantastic, Great Value and as good as Ever! Do your self a Favor and buy one or three you won't be sorry. For All you other manufacturers out there Wake Up and check out Wrangler. Oh yeah - jackets are made oversees -- If thats a Problem for You - Well We got an election comming in Nov. - Use your head!
