Great little coins that work as pirate or fantasy gold currency. It was surprisingly difficult to find plastic gold coins that featured a generic portrait that felt like faux currency. A lot of the other gold coins available on amazon have the $ on them or stars, thumbs up, etc. This particular listing seems to be the best value clocking in at $0.03 per coin. I purchased mine to act as poker chips for a session of D&D that would feature gambling.

Perfect as Murder Mystery money! My husband and I host a Murder Mystery for our friends each year. I felt like I needed some money to use that was more substantial than just money printed on paper. So I used these coins. They are cheap feeling and light. But they were great for what I needed. Easy to get just one or two coins as bribery money, and light enough to carry all night long without noticing them.

I found these to be completely fine for what we used them for. Our two boys love playing with them in their small treasure chest. They are obvious cheap plastic but that was fine enough for us. Provided these don't go up in price I say this is a good purchase.

These coins look very nice in a fake treasure chest. Many of the coins have imperfections on them, but that is to be expected for the price.

Looks nice and very shiny. However some had uncoated parts, which showed the black plastic underneath. Very few and minor though.

You get what you pay for with this product. Yes, it is a very inexpensive version of gold coins, however many of the edges are sharp. I would not classify these as safe for very young children, perhaps your older kids would enjoy. Was delivered quickly.
