Material is flimsy and more like disposable hospital gowns than fabric. I opened the package and my whole family complained of the awful smell. The items are currently airing out in the sun, so we haven't even tried them on for size, but they look adequate. I don't expect them to last long for play use and wouldn't even attempt to use them for actual cooking (I don't think they'd hold up to washing). For a themed party or photoshoot, these would probably work fine, but if your aspiring little chefs are anything like mine, you'll probably want to pay a little more for a durable, washable fabric set that feels more "real".

Kids love it! Parents too :) After many washes it’s keeping its bright red color! Also kids look extremely cute in it so we were able to make lots of great memory photos! size: it’s adjustable so my 3 year old fits in it just as good as 6 year old. Well worth buying!
