The product is exactly as shown. Quality is decent and it is easy to fix. If you are buying this for your window for wild birds (i.e not for your pets or bird cage ) then consider the following:1. Order at least 500 ml or larger for water. For bird food 300 ml will do2. Check the type of grill you have on the window. This one needs vertical bars in close proximity. The hook type needs 2 horizontal bars in close proximity.

The bowl doesn't fit straight. I want a replacement for it but option doesn't show. Anyway do not want a refund as it is too small an item. Could have been better quality from Amazon. The rim of bowl on right side i.e. the side of the screw rests over the welding.

Size of the bowl - good & as mentioned in the pagehold for the bowl - good & as mentioned in the pagequality of the bowl - poor... very flimsy and thin... not a good quality steel

Great for a big cage.. I like it. But my parrot is taking it out there should be something to lock it down

Okay for small birds like budgies, African live birds, spangled and so on, my conures turned these into a toy

It's good for cockatiel sized birds. The ring however gets rusty after a while if you use for water.The ring prevents birds from overturning it.

We recently took in an abused, & hormonal Lovebird. She is not only laying eggs, but she was throwing her dishes about because people had touched them!While it is on one hand funny to us because we know to take bird hormonal periods in stride on the other hand it was sad because she was being handled by inexperienced people who ended up in a personal war with her that ended up in her being abused, neglected, and way over the deep end hating all hands. Poor Baby. So first order of business was to get her food, & water bowls for her quarantine cage she could not flip so she had food, and water available to her.We prefer to use stainless steel when we can, as it in non porous. We chose this bowl although it’s a little big for a lovebird (big enough she’s been doing splash baths in it), because once filled with water, and in its holder it is too heavy for even a hormonal, angry Lovebird to flip! Lol!We are giving this bowl a 1 star rating because of the very messy welding job - it prevents the bowl from sitting flat (we can only fill up to about 80-85%).Unfortunately we had an immediate need, and could not mess around with shipping, reorder, and returns.Had we been purchasing from a brick & motar store we would have left this one on the shelf, and bought another.Therefore because the seller is willing to send out inferior products, and because of the limited usability of the bowl -We do Not recommend this bowl set, & hope our review is helpful to you.

If you're a goof like me who doesn't know how much 500ml is then you'll be suprised with the size. I got 4 of them for my lovebirds and keets. The size is more for larger birds but I'll still use them. Very sturdy, but a little flimsy on the bottom, I have no problem with it though.

much larger than I anticipated. Great product but if you have a sneaky, smart pet they'll rip the bowl out of the holder. while it's sturdy to endure it's frustrating to have to find the bowl. I moved over to a one piece that hooks on the cage like an earring back.

Like that it's easy to clean. It can be attrached to any area of cage because it is nut and bolt, but that takes a minute of time and I'm a rushaholic and that's why only 4 stars.

Bigger then I expected, great price and quality. I bought this for my conures as a food dish. Might use this as a water dish and buy the next size down for a food dish.
