Best tennis racket under $200
Fantastic racket and great price line. I recently started playing tennis and this racket worked miracles. Power, control and even precise top spin, it’s a full package. The slightest touch and the ball goes flying with speed so it takes a little getting used to.The sound off of the strings is amazing. It’s like a steel pan sound and I love how big the head is, very forgiving and lots of sweet spots. If you’re a beginner, intermediate or even a senior player, this is one of the best all in one rackets. It’s a little too light for a pro but it does the job nicely

Hyper Hammer 5.3 - Great Top-Spin and Control (Review by Pro)
I'm top 3 in our club and I'm used to a similar Wilson racquet which I used for 14 years and it got a crack. I was looking for one which is very similar - Head size, length and weight. Atlast I found this Hyper Hammer 5.3. I had purchased another Wilson racquet with this i.e. Wilson Juice Pro BLX along with this. Juice Pro was excellent and I got more power. It was on heavy side. It took a while to get adjusted, but eventually I stopped improving my game. My shots where flying out, unable to get it right in the middle etc. Finally I decided to go back to my other new Hyper Hammer 5.3. VOW!!!.. from day 1 I could realize that my game in improving and I'm using it for the past 1 month and now I'm back to number 1 in the club.Things I LIKE about this Hyper Hammer 5.3 is1. Generate powerful top-spin2. Great solid serve3. Great control when near to the net4. I no more hit out. It hits the line or on the green :)5. Very light weightCons:1. It vibrates a lot, but I put a nice shock absorber rubber and I'm good now.2. Strings move a lot when hitting top-spin. Would have prefered 18x22 string pattern.Note: Other Pro players in my club saw my Hyper Hammer 5.3 and said "this is a beginners racket...". But let me tell you, this racquet can do magic. I have used new Head, Price, Wilson racquets. But nothing come close to this racquet overall. I could feel my game is improving daily, everyday.. Thanks to Wilson for such a great racquet. Read a lot of review about this old racquet and my purchase wasn't a disappointment, but very very happy with it.

Large head; super light
I love this racket. The head is oversized, and the frame is incredibly light.I bought and returned multiple rackets before I ended on this one.

good racket
I have been using for more than a week now. Almost feel like a perfect racket for me in terms of weight (9 oz.), grip size (4 1/8) and price ( I got it for less than $50). You can't beat that.I am still switching between this racket and Head Ti 5.3. After comparing, I think I prefer my Wilson. REASON:The swing and volley for Wilson is better. The only drawback for 5 star rating is the top 1 and lower 2 strings were not stringed taut enough. When ball hits the lower spot, it sounds like tree branch cracking/falling. I wonder if they purposely made it that way for drop shot?? But it sounds horrible. Otherwise the sweet spot is REAL sweet. For Head, the paint from top came off after several weeks' use.Service was OK. Was told will arrive in almost 3 weeks, but arrived a little earlier- all the way from AZ. Just...Tracking something for 3 weeks caused stiff neck!

Great racket
I haven't played tennis in decades and was overwhelmed with how many rackets are on the market these days. This is a great racket and handles very well. It made my transition back into playing tennis seamless and I would recommend this racket to others.

Hyper Hammer 5.3, how did I miss this?
Had been on hammer 4 for more than a decade and all my co-players moved to Babolat drive max 110 from other rackets, and my strings on hammer 4 broke just in time. Gave a try to Babolat, the lighter weight is easier on my hands definitely, but I noticed it is not providing enough power as Hammer 4 and my back hand got worse.Explored Wilson Hammer newer models and came across this on Amazon, pre-strung and a bargain price, kind of no brainer. What a racket it has been!!!, marvelous. Delivering awesome power and lighter than Babolat too. Got my back hand back. Noticeable improvement in my game as confirmed by my partners. Will never move out of Wilson Hammer model line up.Thank you Wilson
