If you are a fan of the R-pi, you'll love this useful SNES-themed case.
This case looks great with a nice logo that matches the classic styling of my childhood SNES. The light is a nice touch. SNES buttons work beautifully. USB ports are useful and placed cleverly. This case, much like the raspberry pi, is perfect for tinkerers. Total neophytes may get a little confused putting it together but if you are already a fan of the pi, you won't have any problems with the coolest looking case around. The RetroFlag SNES controller included in my bundle feels authentic in the hand and buttons work as you'd hope with the right amount of clickiness. It just works.I really like the USB ports that are on the side. I have a nano USB drive on the side so I can hide the external hard drive behind a false side door with USB ports thanks to clever case design. I can also keep the front clear of unsightly USB cables like my wireless Xbox 360 controller adapter to the side if I want, or use the added front USB ports for the included SNES controller. My kit also came with a fan, and it wasn't really clear which direction it should be installed, so I'm glad YouTube is around or else I would've been lost. Those particular instructions weren't included for the fan, but ETA Prime on YouTube was a great help. Everything else, like heatsinks and USB ports simply plug into place; and the paper guide worked well enough to get it assembled, though I ended up with 4 unused screws that were probably included with the fan but weren't useful. Once the fan is in place, it's quiet and keeps my pi cooled even with a little over-clocking.Once you download the safe shutdown script (on RETROFLAG's site or the better one on GitHub, google "RetroFlag Pi-Case Safe Shutdown") the SNES buttons work to escape an emulator and safely shutdown the device and really enhances the Retropie. Just make sure to enable the switch on the board, or else you'll have to take it back apart and reassemble. This wouldn't be a big deal, but the plastic easily strips so take care when screwing the unit together.Overall, I think this case makes a good little emulation box a great one. It looks fantastic next to my other gaming systems and was well worth the price. This is about as good as you'll get for the Pi.

Awesome Case for Raspberry Pi 3+
The case comes out looking remarkably similar to a smaller version of the classic Nintendo. It's easy to assemble though getting the power and reset button to work correctly takes some doing (and I've deducted a star for that exact reason). However, there are ample blog posts and YouTube videos on getting it to work - but it would have been nice if the designer included more detailed instructions.Pros:Looks AWESOMEEasy to assemble (outside of the scripts needed for power and reset button to work correctly - if you haven't installed the scripts, the power button will turn the device on but not off and the reset button will do nothing)Cons:Written instructions are light on getting the power and reset buttons to work outside of telling you where to download the latest scripts - doesn't include instructions on installing the scriptsThe faux 'cartridge' is just weird and doesn't really serve anything but an aesthetic purpose (though it can hold the microSD cards, I'm worried about putting them so close to a magnet; sure, the magnet PROBABLY isn't powerful enough to do damage but...)

Both the case and the seller are amazing
I can't recommend this product or this seller enough. I received my case roughly half a month ago and I absolutely adore it. The build quality is flawless. These things really do look and feel like the original SNES units, regardless of the distance you're viewing them from. Build quality gets a 10/10, as does packaging (a fair amount of thought seems to have gone into it) and presentation. The case is accurate right down to the texture of the original SNES.The controller feels wonderful in the hand. The "travel" for the buttons feels natural and, dare I say, authentic. I've been using it for the SNES Street Fighter titles over the last two weeks and have no complaints. They're careful recreations of the old school controllers, and it's evident that a lot of care was put into their design and construction.I had a few completely unrelated hiccups with my Raspberry Pi after receiving this and had initially assumed it was the fault of the case. Turns out that it was just a GPIO pin on my Raspberry Pi that was acting up, and everything is up and running perfectly at this point. Regardless, I received stellar customer service when I contacted Geeekpi. They did everything they could to help me figure out what the issue was. Their responses were both prompt and polite. So, wonderful product and wonderful customer service. I have absolutely no issues recommending this to others. This case gets a 5/5 from me.

I love this Pi Case!!
I don't think its much of a secret that this is one of the best Snes style Retro Pi cases you can get. It really does feel authentic, and is one of the first cases I plan to have a permanent raspberry Pi mounted in for all my retro gaming. The detail to the original (though I don't have side by side comparison) is very good. It feels solid and well built, and access to the ports is fantastic. The controller that came with it now gets used next to my real Snes controller converted to USB. The controller feels very solid and authentic, with a little more weight than my iBuffalo controllers. My only complaint is the fan that comes with the kit. Its definitely not a deal breaker, but If you want to use a fan I would recommend finding something better before hand. It seems to work fine, but adds significant noise when operating. This might not be a big deal for some people, but to me it takes away from the authenticity.I am happy to have this case included in my retro collection.

One of the best Reto Cases for your RetroPi build!
After building a few of these, this is one of my favourite cases for the RasPi 3B+ hands down. Solid build quality and the power/reset come already assembled and ready to go. No fitment issues and everything is nice and snug for the Raspberry Pi 3B+. Note that there is no room for any HATs that I know of.Note DO NOT LEAVE THE SD CARD IN THE PI DURING ASSEMBLY. Make sure to REMOVE the SD card BEFORE you insert or remove the Pi board from the case. The included controller works great! Note that out of the box it was in Xbox controller mode, simply hold the Y button during powering it on to switch it to Retrocontroller mode which I find works better with the RetroPi setups out of the box, some Emulators though might prefer Xbox 360 input style so to switch back hold the X button during powerup instead.

Excellent Pi Case
Previously purchased the MegaPi case, and was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. I've been running the SNESES frontend (this frontend includes the safe shutdown/reset scripts, so you don't have to worry about installing that) with the Pi I have installed, and I think it's not only an excellent option for those looking to get a SNES classic edition, and in my opinion, blows the official system out of the water.

Works great, slight under-voltage issue.
Bought this as a replacement for a NESpie+ case. The NESpi+ has severe issues with not supplying enough voltage to the Raspberry Pi no matter what adapter you use. I've been using the Superpi case for a few weeks and the only issue I've had is brief under voltage when playing Dreamcast games on my Retropi. Fan is a bit loud but, that is minor.

Looks great and performs great
I love this case. I finished assembling my RPi with it and immediately wanted to buy another one just to do it again. The only issue I ran into is with the shutdown script that is mentioned in the instructions. I could not get it to work. But after a few minutes on Google, I was able to find an alternative that worked flawlessly. I might purchase the Sega version next just for something to do.

Screws Provided Do Not Fit
This SNES case for the Pi would have been great, but I cannot even close the case so it fails to be an enclosure. This is due to wherever this was made not having proper sized holes for the screws provided. I had to carefully thread my own holes into the case just so I could close the case. Even then I'm not sure if the screws will stay in for that long.Overall, the case looks great, but I am very disappointed with the ability of the case being able to act as a case. Do not purchase this case if you're looking for an easy SNES case for the Pi.
