Had our old masher forever and loved it. This one has definitely filled the old one's shoes. It's great quality and sturdy but not too heavy that it's tiring. It's great to use on any pan without worrying about scratches. Mashes great- can't complain!

Worth the higher price. Does not scratch my pans, is effective at squishing things, and comes clean like a dream. Used my old hand-me-down for years, but am glad I just sprung for a new tool. Worth the price and convenient.

Mashed potatoes are so easy and not just for Sunday dinner. This utensil makes it easy to have mashed potatoes any day of the week!

Product works really well breaking up ground meat while cooking, the only thing it needs is a silicone grip on the handle. Haven't tried it with potatoes yet...we'll see.

Love the silicone bottom protects my pots and pans. Easy to use and well-made. Just got it but hopeful it will last a long time!

Tovolo consistently makes products that I love. I bought this specifically to make refried beans and mashed potatoes and it works great for both. The silicone is sturdy and fixed onto the masher so no food will slip into any crevices, it has a good weight, and looks nice next to my stove in my utensil holder. Thanks Tovolo.

Top of handle broke off into my hand while using in skillet. Able to keep pieces out of the ground meat thankfully. Do not recommend after this happened.Definitely purchase a handle that is all one piece.

Bought this for my mother in law for Christmas. She had ruined her previous pan using a non-coated masher. This solves that problem and it’s well built, sturdy, and doesn’t feel “cheap”. Would recommend!

This potato masher is very sturdy and the silicone is high quality. The silicone does a fantastic job at both not scratching any nonstick coatings off of your pot and also helping with ease of cleaning as the starchiness of potatoes will act as glue if left to dry. I would be hesitant to leave this product soaking in water as there is no way to clean it under the silicone. However, it has a tight fit which doesn't appear to be allowing any fluid to enter and I make sure to dry it with the silicone end up to help any possible drainage needs.

Does the job well. Saves scratching sensitive surfaces. Seems durable

...but I am! This masher is great. You don't realize until you get it how bad your old one was. I only went looking because I got a new set of non-stick cookware and wanted to mash potatoes in the pot without scratching. Saw all the positive reviews on this one and decided to go for it. Glad I did. Like I said, it's a potato masher, so, not exactly the most riveting item you'll buy. But when you have a job to do, may as well do it quickly and easily with minimal clean up, right? Great masher!

Lo utilizo para moler frijoles por eso lo compre, anteriormente utilizaba de plástico y se dañaban mis sartenes pero este me encantó el silicon es muy resistente al calor y no maltrata nada mi utensilios, compre otro para regalar a mi mamá 👌🏻
