Happy Birds
I bought this food as I am having difficulty buying bird food and am unable to go out due to being extremely vulnerable. What a delight, I have very fussy birds but within 5 minutes blackbirds, gold finches, starlings, sparrows, wood pigeons and collar neck doves. Also just before closing the door a little robin came to say thank you I pretended to be a garden gnome, at 65 and 6foot isn’t hard to do. When the world is going through such a terrible time I feel extremely lucky to have a lovely garden and now feed the birds with such wonderful food. I hope everyone who reads this stays safe and well. Thank you.

Absolute Rubbish...do not buy this product!
I usually buy another bird seed product from “another company” and that has been great. I ran out and needed bird seed quickly and ordered this on Prime. What a mistake! A garden full of lovely birds who left it untouched and even the non-discretionary pigeons turned their beaks up at this. (When a pigeon doesn’t eat it, that’s a problem!) This is full of fillers and very little nutritious seeds. And guess what? They have a “no returns” policy on this so I am left with a bag of useless bird food. If you run out, whatever you do...do not buy this . Gardman is a respected company and I trusted the brand. This bird seed...is just awful.

No seed mix
Usually when I top up my feeders the birds flock round them and I can't see the feeders for the birds. This product is wrongly named it should be called no seed mix. The few birds which have come for a feed scattered mix all over garden, presumably looking for food. Even the wood pigeons don't bother with it.I'm grossly dissatisfied and disappointed with this product. Would I buy again? Definitely notI gave product 1 star because I couldn't give any less. Please note I have not used the word seed in my review because it is not seed more powder than anything else.

Good value and enjoyed by the birds.
I bought this birdseed because it promises no mess. My garden birds can't read that so they still drop it on the ground. Fortunately it doesn't grow and the pigeons, robins and blackbirds do their best to clear it up. Having said that it is better than the stuff with husks as I've used that in the past and had a large patch of wheat and other stuff growing on the lawn. The birds do enjoy it and are getting through several feeders worth every couple of days. It's a good price though so won't cost an arm and a leg to restock.

Definitely not no mess but did attract some different birds
Delivery was very swift. The seed mix has a variety of different sizes in it, some of them appear to be husked and others aren’t. The bag says it’s a no mess bird food, but I have not found this to be true. Birds are quite fussy really and they will pick out the bits they want and then scatter/drop or spray out the bits they are not interested in. These bits are then sometimes hoovered up by the pigeons. So I have had to clean around the bird table, and I’ve also had some seeds germinating and growing around the bird table. On the plus side however, for the first time I have had a few more species visit the table, nothing too spectacular but robins, blue tit and great tit and also a jackdaw came and visited twice. The normal visitors are pigeons, blackbirds, and sparrows. Would I buy it again? Well yes I have done during lockdown for the convenience and the fact it is delivered.

A helping hand for my garden birds.
A food store for our garden birds and they love this mix. True to word - it is a no mess seed mix as the birds clear it all up. The bag arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I use it for ground feeding and in the feeders. We have blackbirds, robins, greenfinches. sparrows, starlings and jenny wrens regularly - then a pigeon comes and cleans up the leftovers from the ground from time to time! I'm pleased about that as it keeps vermin at bay. Recommend this product - I've used lots of brands over the years and this is high on my 'good product' list.Second Bag for winter 2016/17 - This mix works well with the birds that live around our garden. We have had no growth from the feeders this year which is great. The robin follows me from the garage to the feeding stations so it knows 'which side it's bread is buttered on'! Good value in comparison to buying in small quantities.2nd Order has just arrived so I filled up the feeders right away - low and behold - starlings feeding babies, robin, green-finch, sparrows, blackbirds with babies all in for food within an hour. Just like 'café is open again' had rung through the tree-tops! There is no waste with using this brand of bird seed. Delivery to my door - this time the outer bag was badly torn but the inside one was whole. It is worth every penny spent on this brand of seed as I see so many birds - especially now that the young ones are just out of the nests.Thank-you for a super service

Birds love it!
This is excellent seed, I’m trying to limit the amount of pigeons in my garden due to the mess they make, previous seeds were making so much mess that the pigeons camped out under the feeders and hoovered up the falling seed. Now they come and have a look and then go somewhere else. The birds love the seed and so it can become a bit expensive as I am refilling feeders everyday but worth it to see so many varieties of birds in the garden.

Poor mix of quite large seeds
I suppose you get what you pay for, and having picked this up as a Prime Day deal for less than a pound per kilo, I'm not hugely disappointed but I definitely wouldn't buy this mix again. The mix ix supplied in a strong, durable, plastic sack. Unfortunately the combination of grains is particularly heavy on wheat, and doesn't have much at all in the way of smaller seeds. The wood pigeons, blackbirds and woodpeckers in my garden don't appear to like the wheat much at all and seem to pick through eating everything but this. The absence of smaller seeds seems to make this mix less attractive to smaller bird species - the robins, sparrows, wrens and blue tits all seem singularly unimpressed.
