Prefer Akorn
Wake up with it clumped in the corners of my eyes and it is a little irritating when I put it in. Doesn’t feel as good as Akorn but Akorn is no longer available and Muro 128 is too expensive.

I have been using 5% Sodium Chloride Ophthalmic Ointment for several years due to Corneal Dystrophy. This is best for the cost. Cheers

Tube not as easy to use as other brands
Good price, I need a lot for dog’s eye prescription (three times daily indefinitely). However this brand of ointment continues to extrude from tube well after I quit squeezing, due to stiffness of the metal or something ?? I have used several different brands already, and this is the hardest to use without a lot of waste. I am a retired pharmacist, and I have rarely seen different brands of products with such variation in usability.

Not like Muro 128 at all for me.
I liked that this was a cheaper seemingly identical alternative to Muro 128, but it stung both my eyes when I put it in before bedtime, did not feel good throughout the night, and my eyes hurt all the next day. Unfortunately, I need to stick with the more expensive option for my nighttime eye ointment.

First brand to sting my eyes
Over the years I have used many brands of ophthalmic sodium chloride ointment for corneal edema, but this is the first brand that stung my eyes and made them water continuously. This brand contains lanolin - perhaps I can’t tolerate that ingredient. I should have bought one tube instead of four, which are now unusable. Too bad, because sodium chloride ointment is quite expensive.

Not as good as I hoped
Not as good as the Akorn. I ordered this bc the Akorn brand was sold out. Doesn’t apply as easily & leaves white lubricant that is hard to remove from lashes in the morning.

Not very good.
This product makes my eyes sting, seems to melt away before I even get to bed, leaves my eyes dry the next day, and the tube is difficult to stop the product when you have squeezed out the amount you need. Lastly, at least 1/4 to 1/3 of the tube is just air.

Seems just like Muro 128
I've only used this one night so far, but believe that it is a good -- and much less expensive -- alternative to Muro 128. It looks and feels the same as Muro and Akorn. I have no way of knowing whether it is as effective, however, but it seems like a good assumption.
