Segway Ninebot S2 Electric Self-Balancing Scooter, UL Certified

This Segway Ninebot was an essential ride for getting around the city of Seattle. I really liked how durable it felt and how well it handled different surfaces around the city. Whether I was riding on regular pavement, rougher patches, or just getting from one place to another quickly, it always felt solid and dependable. There is a bit of a learning curve at first if you are not used to balancing on something like a bike or skateboard, but it does not take long to get the hang of it. I liked that you can adjust the speed in the app as you get more comfortable with riding, turning corners, and overall control. That makes it a lot more beginner-friendly and gives you room to build confidence before opening it up more. Another thing I appreciated was how quiet and portable it was. It is easy to take with you, store, or load into a vehicle, and it rides without a lot of noise. The range was decent for city use and worked well for what I needed. My only real complaint is that I wish it were a little faster. Overall, this was a fun, practical, and reliable scooter that both my wife and I enjoyed using. In fact, I liked it enough that I planned on buying another one after this one was stolen from the back of our vehicle. That alone probably says the most about how useful it was.

I still love these 9bots Fun for the entire family. My husband myself and our two 10 year old boys love riding these around the yard and down the driveway. Good quality. Last forever

So many bad reviews of these really made me worried about what I was getting into. So far I've owned this for about a month and used it well. The price point is my only gripe I suppose. This could be a hundred or 2 less than what it is. Time will tell how the S2 holds up. I follow my 4 year old around the neighborhood and to parks and stuff. If we go downtown or anywhere where event staff won't lose their minds at the sight of a Segway, its a fun and silly way to travel. It turns heads in a funny way. People ask what it is a lot. Also, the weight limit is 220lbs? I'm 6ft and 140lbs. But most avg adult men in the USA are easily 200-220. This definitely limits the ability to share this with anyone built like a brick shithouse but hey. Not too bad

Originally rated 5 stars, now -5 stars for customer service. Their customer service is atrocious. I am sure they are being purposefully obtuse with me. I am having an issue with what I think is a bearing. I had to send them a video several times and several different ways (YouTube, email, and Google Drive) to get them to be able to view it- and now they are telling me they can’t diagnose the problem from the video. Now after weeks of back and forth, they would like me to send them the product, have them repair it, and sent back to me. If their team gets in there and decides that I somehow caused the issue, then I’m on the hook for payment- and they absolutely refuse to give me any sort of estimate (they claim they can’t even give me a shipping estimate!). The product was purchased 7 months ago and has been in light use for 5 months (due to snow), and hasn’t been dropped or damaged, and is already having problems. This is ridiculous for an $600 item. Absolutely would give zero stars if I could, simply for having to deal with Andrew from Customer “Service”.

Once you get it set up, it’s amazing! The setup can be a little complicated, so DO NOT skip the tutorials like I did 😂. If you already skipped them and are having trouble, I recommend deleting your account and starting over from the beginning so you can follow the tutorials step by step. I learned that the hard way! Other than the initial setup, I absolutely love it and it works great.

Need to get around the pits at motorcycle races? This is perfect. TONS of ppl use these so we broke down and got it. It's perfect for our needs. Hopefully it lasts a long time for the price.

I got this in April and only one thing keeps it from being 5 stars. I literally adore it. People who ride horses and go to horse shows know that everyone has scooters and e-bikes. If you go to a barrel race you will find a lot of the kids have this particular one. I was watching kids at a polo field play on those circular one wheel things. They are just a bit too extreme for me. This is literally perfect, less chance of falling off, amazing stability and nice huge tires for grass. LOVE ridding this on grass! You can get across big fields so fast. You can be HANDS FREE and be texting, taking a video, pictures etc. AMAZING Segway. ADORE it, the hands free nature make it so perfect for vacations or being outside any large area and you want to go grab something and bring it back. I will grab my chair, and cooker and can easily hold it all while taking this to a nice shady spot under a tree. I can jump on it to run to a food truck. It is SO GREAT. The big issue? It's heavy, which is fine, but it needs a handle on it someplace. You will naturally just grab it by the knee pads, which will result in.. it ripping off. 4 Months off use, and I accidentally ripped a knee pad off when moving it. I often ride it in my side. yard, I get a "foot mallet" for polo and I smack a ball around and zoom around my side yard at a goal I made for myself. its fully improved my game. But I would lift it up 1 single step every single day twice a day in and out. Pop, off came one knee pad. NO replacement part, been checking for a month. Never in stock. People stop me on it and ask me about it and express wanting one. With tariffs the price will bounce up from $500-$650. I think I paid $500 or close to it. I WANT a replacement knee bar!! Super frustrating that it's never in stock. I have the knee pad attached by medical tape at the minute and I dont like it, doesn't feel as nice when it was properly attached. SEGWAY needs to add a handle, and make that part easier to replace or easier to source. LOVE this thing but I take it all over, Im always popping it in and out of the car, please select me something I can pop onto the handle to more easily move it without breaking it. I will HAPPILY purchase the accessory.

Easier than you would think to get the hang of it, and a ton of fun.
