Best money ever spent!
My husband sweats like crazy in his sleep. It is so bad, that he wakes up smelling like death (I'm not exaggerating, he smells like someone in a nursing home about to die). It is so bad that I could not even sleep next to him unless it's winter. This blanket is fricken magic!!! He doesn't sweat anymore, it's crazy! I love this blanket and have already told everyone about it, and all my family is ordering them. If you or someone you know sweats at night, get them this blanket! It is very affordable, and really works. I couldn't even kiss my husband when he got out of bed in the morning, because he stunk so bad....now there's no smell!!!

A REAL REVIEW by a REAL PERSON. I'm a little concerned about the rest of these reviews. Hmmm.
1.) It's NOT soft. Nope. Not at all. Think Hospital waffle blanket. From 1980. Think roughish.2.) Is it silky? If you rub your fingers over it the outer part of the pattern is a little silky-esh, but due to the weaving pattern its actually NOT silky at all in the way Americans think of SILKY, smooth, lightweight, soft. Nope.3.) YES IT'S SMALL and it shrinks in COLD water and not drying it except inside per instructions. And it is MAJOR shrinkage. Its a small blanket to begin with, one wash and its going to be 5 inches smaller all the way around. Dry it in a dryer and its going to be even smaller. It's made with Asian/small body types in mind I think, much like shoes and clothing, or someone is just being chintzy on the threads.4.) It's a headache, because who doesn't like a fresh clean blanket. But you need to wash this in cold and then throw it over a chair or line inside to dry. So in the days of covid, well, I don't like a blanket I can't wash on hot and dry on hot. Call it -High Maintence-.5.) If you are used to the old-time silk rimmed blankets or newer poly or microfiber that is all soft and light, but yet warm, this is NOTHING like that, at all. NOTHING. The texture is completely different.6.) It is NOT lightweight. Like most bamboo things it has heft and weight to it, though it is thin.7.) Unless you have tough manly man skin you do NOT want to use this without a sheet under it. It's that uncomfortable. I know in EU and Asian culture a top sheet is not the norm like it is in the USA.8.) Snags? It comes out of the package with snags, (see pic) and just gets worse, esp, if you have a dog that loves to sleep with you, (Or cat I would guess) but no flying balls of lint yet. Then again I did not DRYER dry it. I tossed it over a chair and aimed a fan at it, inside.OK all that out of the way, (And I have bamboo clothing, sheets, pillowcases and the like so I can say with all honestly this is NOTHING like the other bamboo things I own. Not nearly as "feel good or smooth"THE TRUTH about this blanket when it comes to cooling....Welp, the first night I used it, on TOP of a bamboo "cooling" sheet that I've used for a long time, we had a little cold snap. And I found myself grabbing for another blanket to put on top of it and was STILL cold. Could have used a third blanket but was too tired to move. That is ODD for me, even when the house is cool, I want to be COLD to sleep. I mean I'm the person who thinks 60 inside the house is a perfect temp. When I'm awake I might get chilly, but for whatever reason, I sleep HOT, no matter the type of bed. (Right now I sleep on a cooling mattress too...haha haha.)When you hold to the light you can see it has MANY holes in it, its near see-through, hence the cooling I GUESS??, more so than the fiber?? I don't know. I mean any blanket with holes would keep you cool, right?I am a hot sleeper, even when its cold and I did not get hot. Hmmm. Yet. The weather hasn't warmed enough for me to give it a fair shake on that, but I WILL come back an update. Hence the 3 stars, even if its just for a holy blanket. My thoughts so far are, overpriced, high maintenance, low quality, too small...but it seemed to keep me cool. I will be back to update as the weather warms as I do live in a normally hot and humid climate. But if it really does keep me cool, with all its faults, I will be the first to RAVE about it.I've included pics of it over an inside lamp and held up to an outside window so you can see what I am talking about with the weave being so open. AKA Holes.

It REALLY works!!!!
This is truly a cooling blanket!! I really didn’t think it would work, but my spouse has finally received a whole night sleep without waking up dripping wet from perspiration. Actually placing it down 1st works for her best.

Love, love, love this blanket.
Washed it and tumble dried it (no heat) for 45 minutes before hanging it up to dry the day I got it, it did not shrink at all. Love it, I used to sweat all night and lately I have kept cool, even with the A/C off! Now I just need a bamboo pillowcase, and I will be happy!

Keeps you cool!
I'm the type of person who overheats even in the winter... I have slept either under sheets alone, or without anything over top me at night because I would wake up drenched in sweat. I love this blanket. It stays cool, and keeps me sweat free when I wake up. This is honestly going to be a life saver.

I ordered a second one, I liked it so much!
I opened my blanket and immediately ordered a second one - - it was so smooth, soft, lightweight, and beautifully made! I can't believe what a great deal this was. I sleep with this every night and it is great for exactly what bamboo is best at: temperature regulation. Perfect blanket to go under my comforter for warm evenings. And it's pretty enough to be a decorative throw. Blue color is exactly as pictured.I see in the instructions that one must be careful how they dry this blanket. Perhaps that's why another user complained of its fragility. It's a very light, delicate blanket made of a only bamboo (no sweaty polyester "blended" in for strength) so I'm not surprised that it takes some careful washing. But it's holding up to regular, every day use without any problems!

It does shrink believe it!
I got this blanket when I started having hot flashes. I was buying everything bamboo I could find. I have many bamboo items and none of them have instructions to wash and dry like this item does. But believe it, it will shrink. I first put it in a dryer on the lowest setting there was and it shrank. Now it doesn't cover the whole queen bed. I really don't know how they expect you to wash and dry this when you can't put it in the dryer and you can't hang it in the sun that's just kind of crazy. it is lightweight, I really can't say that it's cooler than anything else because when you're having a hot flash no blanket is friendly. thankfully I haven't had any more of those hot flashes my doctor thinks it was a fluke haha! But I am prepared for next time.

Nice and comfy but it’s gonna shrink!
79 x 90 shrinks up to about 67 x 65 so beware, it’s more like a throw than a bed blanket. I was super careful the first few times washing it in cold water and hanging to dry but after a while got tired of having to give it the special treatment. Still I only wash it in luke warm and don’t over-dry and it shrunk pretty badly. If only they’d make a larger one that doesn’t shrink, or sell them pre-shrunk

It really is a cooling blanket
I was searching hard for economical blanket that can accommodate the Singapore climate. My husband is a hot sleeper while I can't sleep in a super cold air conditioned room. So, to compromise, I bought this blanket to try out and see if my husband will like it. He love this blanket and has recommended to his family.

Cozy and light
Great blanket for summer. Isn’t too hot at all. Doesn’t cover the entire queen size bed though but good in summer, or a snooze during the day etc.
