Pokémon Ranger And The Temple Of The Sea: Volume 1 (Pokémon the Movie (manga))

This book on legend is very interesting to my son. He is very happy with the book. Content of the book is also nice.

The book is good but very pricey

(bought it new)Art- art looked fantastic! i'll be honest, sometimes (mainly ash & pikachu for some reason) was drawn a bit off at times. but that's pretty normal when drawing comics or animating. so i really can't complain. the cover in my opinion is really nicely coloured too! generally; the style was really nice and the art was nice to look at. the panels followed nicely as well.Story- i'll be honest; i found the story in the manga to be very fast-paced and not as 'epic' as the movie. i was a bit disappointed by that; and especially by the lack of connection ash and may had compared to the movie....the movie had a lot more emotional moments between the 2 that made certain scenes more emotional. it was a pretty short read because of this and didn't make me emotional unlike the movie.:(also there were some scenes that were different compared to the movie; but not by that much!Product- i think one of the most important things about this is that they didn't make the manga go left to right. some translating manga companies tend to reverse the images to make the book go left to right rather than the original; right to left. which makes the drawings look off and upsets manga artists a lot. so it was nice that they kept it in the original format.the outside of the book is a soft covered manga and has a glossy finish. pages are regular soft paper and not a thicker/glossier paper. so be careful not to drop any liquids on it or be rough with the pages while turning!**also for those who were worried; yes this is in english and yes; it has all the chapters! i was worried it wouldn't be the complete series; but it is!Packaging- as mentioned i bought it new so the packaging might differ from sellers! but mine was packaged all right. it was in a brown envelope with bubble wrap to protect it. easy to open too! no damages at all either; it wasn't even wet (because we had a rain storm when it was delivered; but the bubble wrap completely protected it! also shipping was fast!!!overall i'd actually give it a 4.5. while the story did disappoint me (i was hoping certain scenes might be more intense?) i'm still glad i got it! i'm generally a huge pokemon fan but this particular movie is one of my favourites! so i'm glad i have it in my collection!

My little girl is pokemon crazy. Great value.

Book reads right to left!!! No one in the USA reads this way!!! Also it is printed on drab yellowish paper with black ink.....No Color At All !!
