I'm only writing this review because there are no reviews for this item yet. I don't usually write reviews.It knife is exactly what I expected - a genuine Kizlyar throwing knife. I'd agree. Larger knives are easier to learn to throw for beginners.FYI, this knife, like most others, is not in the same class as Flying Steel knives, which I also own. Flying Steel knives cost about twice as much (depending on the model), but they have a much better quality finish and they are more durable. (Flying Steel knives are not sold on Amazon. No knife sold on Amazon will match a Flying Steel knife for a serious thrower.)However, this Kizlyar Vyatiz knife has a size, shape and weight that I like for Fedin style no-spin throwing. It is a good knife and I enjoy throwing it. The price on Amazon is fair (at the time I purchased). I can recommend it. I own several of these Kizlyar Vyatiz knives as well as two other models of Kizlyar throwing knives. They are far better quality than most throwing knives sold on Amazon.Most throwing knives sold on Amazon are not suitable for Fedin style no-spin throwing. The Vyatiz is one of the few you can find on Amazon that works well with this awesome technique and is of high quality.Also check out the Flying Steel Arrow knife if you want one of the very best designs for Fedin style no-spin throwing. The Gil Hibben Tanto Thrower is probably the best quality throwing knife sold on Amazon.But I'm reviewing the Kizlyar KK0092 Vyatiz here and the reason I like it is that it is the only good quality knife sold on Amazon and it has a very good shape, balance and weight for Fedin style no-spin throwing.

These are great no-spin throwing knives. They have a little more weight toward the center than Arrow or Stinger style throwing knives. This makes them superb for BIM style no-spin throwing, with, or without bullet rotation. They are stainless steel, but frog lube will help keep them shiny.Overall, the best value for excellent quality no-spin throwing knives.

Love this knife so much I bought 2 more so I would have 3. I have actually purchased 4 in total but lost my first one. The feel, the weight and the balance are perfect for me personally. I am able to stick them straight on and deep every time (almost). no complaints. Just wish I had not lost my first one!

I love this knife! I also own the Osetr and Leader throwing knives by Kizlyar. The Vyatiz and Leader are my favorite knives to throw out of the many many throwing knives I own. The knives will last a long time and any little nicks in the steel that throwing knives take on from being used is so easily filed away on Kizlyar’s throwing knives! Trust m, I have been throwing knives no-spin for years and find Kizlyars knives to not only throw the best for me but are also easy to maintain. They don’t take on the rust like carbon based steel throwing knives do as well. Highly satisfied with Kizlyar’s throwing knives!

i just got in to throwing and i am learning no spin style. these knives are perfect for my style havent even chipped one yet. i have a set of cheaper ones that i have to file because they chip easy. these fly well and are making me feel better about my throwig because im getting goog sticks with them

Perfect for skanf style throwing . I bought 6 of them . Forget about center balance , hold these at the end of the handle . Best price/quality knives on amazon .
