My granddaughter loved this but after reading a problem a few people had with the plaster drying out while mixing into ‘popcorn looking’ bits I advised her mum to add a bit more water from the start...this worked really well and beautiful unicorn things were made and painted...really good product thanks

Easy to make, 4 year old had lots of fun, although too detailed for neat painting!

Excellent, preferably leave to dry overnight in airing cupboard. Better if adult removes from moulds. Bit tricky but I didn’t break any.7yr old granddaughter loved painting them too. Would consider buying another different themed set.

This was a present for my granddaughter, after a hot summer there were a few dull days where trying to keep her amused was getting harder. She has always likes drawing and colouring in so I thought with this casting, modeling and painting set she could make endless amounts of unicorns and could paint each one a different colour. She thinks it brilliant, so does her mum and me. Hours, days, weeks of fun.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the plaster, once we took them out of the moulds they had bits missing and the plaster crumbled even though we followed the instructions exactly. However my 5yr old was happy and that's the main thing.

I am not sure how easy it was to use as it was a birthday gift but the little girl that I bought it for loves unicorns so I am sure she loved it!

The child will need a little help from an adult to make the casts. They are not glazed. They are fun to paint. Suits from 5-6 year old upwards.
